Sometimes the silent whispers in our heads get so loud we start to believe the noise is real. I have been there, and the whispers almost convinced me that I should not be alive.
In that darkness, I took to writing poetry and little positive notes to find light and hope. I had to convince my mind that it gets better. Nothing remains forever, not even the bad days and the sad moments. In this book, I try to make sense of my emotions and navigate the darkness through words.
If you find yourself today in the same dark spot, may these poems and little notes give you a reason each day to live, not leave. May you find hope in the knowledge that your presence is valuable, and that you are loved. Find hope and keep it alive because where hope lives, nothing ever dies.
“When the warmth of love is gone, And the heart grows cold, When pain is all that we know, And laughter is a memory of Long ago, May the tears help us grow, And give us hope to evolve, As we embrace all that life holds.”

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. This entire book is similar to calling the national suicide helpline only to be put on hold for thirteen minutes before being greeted with a lukewarm attitude and being told that “trust me- it gets better!”
This book was way too religious for my taste. I did enjoy the first few poems was looking at a 2.75 possibly 3 but went down hill fast rating 1.75/2 if being generous
