you can really find a way to write about everything huh 🤔 no but a few of the short stories i did enjoy, some of them felt very pointless with no plot or resolve

There were some pretty moments in some of the short stories, but I can't say I really enjoyed any of them. The book was saved by the novella, "Me and Mine" (although I see that Torrey was working as a legal secretary when she published the book, and I can't imagine she kept her job for long after that!). While "Me and Mine" wouldn't have worked as a novel (but was a great novella...I hate that word), perhaps Torrey is better suited to the longer form. Wouldn't read more of her short stories (which all seem to be about the same damaged woman), but would definitely give her another chance.
