Despite a largely cliché plot line, the narrative style, and the settings made this book an interesting read. Whether it was understanding more about Persian culture and traditions, or the history of Hyderabad where a part of the story is set in, the book made for an interesting read. The ending was a let down though; it felt like I did not get closure at the end of the book.
