This textbook resource book has a series of questions that readers are invited to contemplate. The essentials of helping is outlined. There are chapters in conversation - dialogue, eye contact and tuning in, active listening, Seeking understanding, using probes and summaries, helping the client to tell their story.

We didn't use this workbook a ton in class. I found the exercises somewhat interesting, but not super useful.
