Great overview of key feminist modes of thought, movements, and persons. Humm chooses a good body of material. Unfortunately the material only goes up to the early 90s but it’s a good introduction to important feminist works. Would recommend

Used this book for my university work on feminism throughout the ages, the book provided fantastic, straight-forward and interesting information about the history and origins of feminism and how feminism grew throughout the 20th century. Also found the inclusion of feminist writers throughout the first-wave and second-wave periods very helpful to my research.
