Kalo baca sepintas aja...wow, keren! 5 bintang!

While not my favorite Urasawa manga, Master Keaton is still fascinating, especially as it was written in 1989 in a very different political climate. There is a slightly dated feel to the stories, which are quite episodic, but overall this reads like a more political Indiana Jones. (Full review will eventually be available on The Anime News Network.)

I really enjoyed it. It starts out with your typical know-it-all protagonist with a witty humor, that eventually turns in to a fleshed out character with flaws and all. Each chapter, while episodic, fleshes out characters and the world that Keaton belongs in. Can't wait to read the next one.

Public library copy.

I rather enjoyed the stories. I'd note there was a significant tonal shift in the last story, which dealt with prostitution and had a lot more violence and killing.
