It has been a long time, but this was my favorite book when I was a pre-teen. This book focuses on one of the twins, Eric, and his adventures in Hawaii, and the focus on locale, a bit of tension between friends, and lots of adventure and escapes made me want to reread it more than a few times.

Not my favorite of the series, but pretty good. Liked Popoki the cat...though claiming she was good luck was just bad. There was enough excitement to keep one's attention quite well, but the romantic element was shallow, mostly. Oh, and there is one reference to an old earth, but that is easy to white out.
