I didn't expect to like this book -- I've been avoiding anything with the guy/girl romantic poses on the cover. But I was desperate for something to read and this was on the pile. It turned out to be better than expected. The political intrigue got me a bit confused, but I focused on the rest of the story and find it quite entertaining.
