We are on book 3 and I believe it's the last one in this series and I love HALE!!

HALE was over the top knew he wanted Cara the moment he met her at the party he stalked and made sure first meeting was 🔥🔥🔥 and the second meeting was even more delicious. He wanted to pick his girls brain and he was hooked. As for Cara she was a girl in a tower who's father's was a douche and made her feel scared and unloved and do most of his work. She loved her nights since the mysterious man sneaked into her room.
This went on for awhile which I love we learn more that Cara father and Hale friend had a past and it wasn't a good one she finds out her father has done horrible things to kids and she wants revenge for those kids. She has family and man to help bring her father down. And I love that she got it.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, drama, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

Anastazia and Kristian didn't hold a candle to Hale and Cara!!!
Deadly encounter was an enjoyable reading full of dirty sex and spicy moments...
I liked obsessive Hale and I liked the 'good girl' Cara!!! These two were pure fire and their story was a pure obsession... An obsession that after a while turned out to be something more...

"Villains are way more fun..."

Hale's obsession grew out of epic proportions when he stole a masked kiss...
From that moment, every single night, this villain is breaking into princess's tower through her open window and he is stealing everything he can from her...
Cara was literally a princess locked in a tower...
Until the night a stranger broke into her room and he stole something that didn't belong to him... She is really reluctant of him or this stranger has the key to her liberation???

I really liked this couple... I won't hide to you that from time to time, especially in the beginning, the crazy things that were happening between them were frustrating me, but when the plot thinned and the secrets started to unravel, I was enjoying this story very much...
Cara was living under her father's rule and shadow... She was so repressed by him... I was furious for her behalf... But deep down, Cara was a rebel!!! She just needed the right person to unlock her!!!
As for Hale??? He was a crazy, obsessive and very possessive motherf**ker!!! But I loved him for exactly these reasons... I liked witnessing his obsession becoming his whole world and that he started to reevaluate many things in his life!!!
Yep, these two were hot and sinister, but they were so perfect for each other!!!

I started this not expecting anything and got such an amazing hero, even though i'm not into r4pe play i enjoyed this all because of the hero, he was perfect, he checked all my boxes

I am a huge fan of KA Knight and Ivy Fox individually but when they came together to gave us this amazing af book , I was all over it lmao. I signed up for it asap because there is no way I was missing an age gap romance I knew was going to stay with me for a long time.

I read this book in one go and it was a good read for a dark romance lover like me. Not to mention that I absolutely loved the hero lmao ,He was such a daddy XD. The plotline was good and all the characters were good too. Unfortunately this was the first book of this series that I picked up and knew I had to read them all after reading it lol , so Yeah I am gonna do that and you go read this one!!

Definitely recommending this book to all the dark romance loving people out there.

Whilst conducting recon at a ritzy event, Hale becomes enamoured with the startling beauty of a woman, he is drawn to her, and in a heated moment he steals a kiss that leaves them breathless, after learning her name, he leaves her, for if he didn’t he would lay claim to her then and there.

After that night, it’s not enough for Cara, for she wants more, and her perfect stranger is more than happy to give everything to her, coming back night after night, giving her many firsts, nights of pure passion and heightened pleasure, the likes that she has not experienced or felt ever before, and when she sees his face that first time, she doesn’t feel fear, she feels safe.

And her father pays dearly for his transgressions, creating a domino effect that sees Cara paying for the sins of her father ten fold, taking control of her life and steering what was once her fathers company, that is now hers in a different direction, making changes for a better future, in the process giving back to Zoey and Gray, giving Gray the much needed closure he deserves all the whilst allowing him to hold those responsible, making them accountable for there actions, making the world a better place, a more safer place to live in.

This book has it all a love so consuming, d/s themes, daddy/ praise kinks, possessive dominant alpha male, a strong sassy female who gives as good as she gets, complex family and friend dynamics, murder, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, deception, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, turns, truths and betrayal.

This story is told from multiple POV that it will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page. This book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the  readers to really connect with the characters, and as the story continues to unfold, the readers see the development and growth from the characters singularly and together.  The author definitely knows how to write, and I’ll be coming back for more.

And those s*x scenes, including those BDSM elements were steamy, yet sensual, dirty, hot, intense, physical, provocative, it had all the angry angst, hate, jealousy, pleasure and passion one would expect when Hale shows his princess who he really is, taking him for all that he is, darkness and all. For he takes what he wants without consequence, giving Cara the pain and pleasure she deserves, his possessive and obsessive need for control and dominance, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.

Despite their trauma, they work well together in their own way because nothing will come between them. They love each other, regardless of their differences, because they are in this together.

Cannot believe that this is the end of there story, but all good stories must come to and end, they got there happily ever with there beautiful children, it also proves that Hale is no short of being possessive, wicked and depraved, showing Cara who’s clearly in charge and who owns her heart, mind and body, it was bittersweet and oh so perfect, and one very well deserved for them all.

The last book in the Deadly Love series was deliciously good just like the previous ones 😍😍😍
Hale is dangerous, secretive, perversed, obsessive, possessive... a true p$ychopath but with a big heart. I mean, he was so damn adorable, and it shouldn't be the right term to describe him, but it fits him perfctly.
And Cara is sucha a brilliant girl!!
I thought she was just a shy girl who loved reading ( and that alone made her the best 😏😌),  but she was hiding a lot of funny things 😏😏
The girl is kinky! And I enjoyed it so f*cking much🥵🥵

The story is focused pretty much on them and their relationship, but it also follows what was left unsolved in Deadly Match. Everything gonna find an explanation or a conclosure.
We also gonna see the other couples, and I can tell you it’s amazing 😍 They are a big twisted family 🖤🖤
I'm kinda sad this was the ending...
Highly recommended!!

Ps. Please be aware of the triggers warnings. The story is a bit darker, but mostly the kind of kinks they enjoy are not for everyone one.

K.A. Knight and Ivy Fox are the bomb. Their writing completes each other and the darkness that surrounds each book is breathtaking...
Deadly Encounter is the third book from the Deadly Love series and explores the lives of Cara and Hale.
One side note, despite the fact that all books are standalone, I advise you to read them in order. You'll see why.
Cara's life hasn't been easy. She's this sweet girl that has lived all of her life caged inside an ivory tower.
She just wants to be free. Free to enjoy her life but that's not an easy task.
One night of pure passion and lust...
Hale is a dangerous man. But he must be because of the way he lives his life...
But he's also funny and protective of the ones he loves.
When he sets his eyes on Cara, his only thought is that he must have her so he does just that, and then...
Lord have mercy on my soul... Lol
Stellar plot, well written, super engaging, and intense with a touch of darkness in between.
These two were explosive together and you will be left wanting more and more.
The hit stuff is out of this world and you'll need a few changes of panties... Just saying.
The way the story progressed left me wanting more and more. Once I started to read this book I realized it was nearly impossible to stop.
And I didn't want to, if I'm being honest.
Let's just say that I lose track of time...
I can say, without a doubt, that this series was one of my favorites and I'm sad that it's over.

I have fallen in love with this series right from the start! I am sad it's over but at the same time Katie & Ivy did an amazing job wrapping up this series and gave it an epic ending. Deadly Encounter is Hale (the dark and deadly character that works with Alaric & Gray) & Cara's (Zoey's sweet, innocent best friend) story.

While doing recon, Hale comes across Cara, and he is instantly drawn in. He can't seem to get her of his mind. So, he follows her and steals a kiss. Thinking that would be enough would be his downfall. So, he does what any sensible monster would do and sneak into her room and become her thief in the night. He takes what he wants and knowing her darkest fantasies, gives her something she won't forget. Again, he thinks this will cure his obsession, but it only makes it worse. So, night after night he comes back, and they slowly form a weird type of relationship, and he lets her see his face and know his name.

Now Hale's mission is to find The General, the monster from Gray's past. They have been looking for him for years and they feel like they are no closer to finding him. But when Cara gets involved unknowingly, they can finally get some answers they've been missing. After years and years of searching can all this heartache and pain finally end? Can Cara finally break free and live her life?

This series has come full circle and it's sad to see it end. Thank you, Katie and Ivy, for taking me on this journey and allowing me to be ARC reader for you. It's been an amazing experience to see, Layla, Zoey and Cara turn into these strong independent women. And watching Alaric, Gray and Hale go from heartless, murderous men to the big softie they really are.

DAMN! You are definitely not ready to experience Hale and all of his dark, depraved and devious deeds.

This man had my body aching right from the first moment he set his sights on Cara. He knew what he wanted and he knew what she wanted, and there was nothing or nobody that would stand in his way to achieve it.

Hale and Cara play a dark and delicious game of cat and mouse that boarded on dubcon, but I was all for it. Hale is possessive, dominant, and unhinged and sweet Cara is exactly the kind of feisty, bratty and sassy submissive that Hale desires.

Cara and Hale story, I would say you can read this as a standalone. But in actually, it's best to read the series in order. Characters from the first book bleed throughout each book. Hale s part of team that Alaric and Grey are part of and their women that they sworn to protect is fmaily. it's sort of like a newfound family. That whatever that troubles them they are all willing to help them. So, Hale made a promise to Grey to help him find the last person who hauted him when growing up in the foster system. But, when hale is at a party to find out who the General is, He knows that high ranking people will be there. he has his suspicions and the governors daughter Cara will be there. Will this be a a quickie to get to the means to the end? Or will he want to build from there chance meeting into something more?

I’m so sad to see this series come to an end! I’ve loved it from book 1 and if anything my love of this series has grown to a ridiculous proportion. Deadly Encounter is Hale and Cara’s story.

While doing recon, Hale becomes a thief in the night. Stealing a kiss would be his downfall and the start to his greatest obsession.

Cara is like a princess locked in a gilded cage. Forever under the thumb of her father. When a stranger steals a kiss, her gilded cage is about to broken wide open.

I loved Hale and his obsession with Cara. I adored his character and how much he means to Cara. Cara may be naïve but she shows us her inner bad girl. These two together spice up the pages.

All the unanswered questions from book 2 are finally answered, and if you love psychotically obsessive alphas with touch her and die vibes, then the Deadly Love series is for you.

Thoughts - I'm sad that this is the last book. The guys are all similar versions of each other and Hale is the same obsessive, toxic, touch her and die alpha. Cara on the other hand is a super confident business woman on the outside and emotionally abused in prison hell in her private life from her father. I LOVED how the storyline evolves and concludes everything. And the epilogue was soo bloody sweet 🥵 definitely recommend read as well as read the series in order because there all interconnected.

He can't stay away and one night he breaks into her room and lives her wildest fantasy. This starts a passionate secret love affair full of drama, suspense, abuse, control and vengeance.

Deadly Encounter is book three and he final of the Deadly Love series. Which tells us of Hale and Cara's story. Which may I add so steamy and dark. Some of my favorite things. There may be some things in here that may or may not make you blush.

You know what I like about it? It is full of obsession, love and of course a touch of revenge.

If you are one of the romance fans that love the one liners, well Hale will make you swoon.

This is an amazing ending to this series and wraps it up perfectly.

This series keeps getting better and better!! I know I say it all the time but I think this couple is by far my favorite couple of the series. Hale is just so alpha and possessive when it comes to Cara. She is his obsession. Cara is sweet princess, that her father keeps on a very short leash. Deadly Encounter by K.A. Knight and Ivy Fox is a romantic suspense.

This is the third book in the Deadly Love series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone, but the stories are interconnected so I would recommend reading them in order.

I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Hale and Cara. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I loved the bonus epilogue to wrap up the series where we got to see all three couple a couple years down the road.

I would recommend this series if you like romantic suspense or contemporary romances.

Deadly Encounter is the third and final book in the Deadly Love series written by Ivy Fox & K.A. Knight. I had the privilege of Beta reading this book and I couldn't wait to dive into this deliciousness. Deadly Encounter is Hale & Cara's book and I have been wanting to read about Hale ever since we met him in the series.

This book was fantastic, it is dark, addictive and raw with so much spice. I was captivated from the first chapter and kept asking for more. If you like dark romance and you do not have any triggers, then you will absolutely love this book. Hale & Cara are complete opposites, but their chemistry was off the charts and their sides of darkness just complimented each other. Ivy & Katie have smashed it with this series, and I am sad to see it come to an end.

It’s not necessary to read the other two books first, but I absolutely recommend it!

I loved Hale and Cara’s story a little bit extra because of its connection to Gray and Zoey’s. Which also meant it hurt a little extra too. I was instantly attached to Hale. Mostly because he reminded me a lot of Gray. He was consumed by Cara from the second he laid eyes on her. She was treated like a show item, dressed like a doll meant to be played with. My heart was broken for her right away. As soon as we met her father, I was looking forward to whatever torture Hale had planned for him, because I knew it was coming, for whatever reason he had. Hale and Cara gave each other the same amount of control. But let’s be honest, she has more than him. And, with no surprise, he doesn’t mind. Cara didn’t just blossom, she bloomed. And I loved every second of it! This is so much darker and dirty than the others (surprising, right?!). And it was more than just killers and revenge. They are two lost souls, meant to find each other. They pour their hearts out to each other, wearing them as armor to love and protect the other. He lost himself in her, but really, he found himself. Hale made me cry towards the end there. And then Cara and Gray made me cry.

This book has blown me away once again! Theses lady’s know how to write a book, like wow! This book is uncomfortable at times and yet enchantingly addictive, I am simply obsessed with Hale and his wicked ways.
The whole fight, love, passion was giving me life.

The way Hale was so in tune with what Clara wanted and needed was so cute, I loved how he became so obsessive and observant with Clara, what I’m trying to say if you loved Gray your going to be obsessed with Hale.
I adored his darkness it made him such an enjoyable character to read you became very infatuated with him and his whole demeanour.

Clara is such a sheltered sweet character with some bad a** tendencies, I love how through Hale and the building of her self-confidence she became so much more of herself and she stood up herself and became such a beautiful character. I loved her so much!!

Having this trilogy come to an end is something I didn’t really want to think about because I’ve absolutely love the individual stories of each characters yet the continuous story throughout the whole trilogy, I loved these books and I’m going to truly miss them a lot!

At the end of this book we got very small little snippets of all the characters, which made me tear up because I love when that happens and I loved seeing just a little bit of all their perspectives again!

Overall every book in this trilogy are amazing, these ladies can write to perfection together the storyline, all the characters, the couples are just… I love them! I will never get over FACTS. PERIOD! 🪟📚

This book has blown me away once again! Theses lady’s know how to write a book, like wow! This book is uncomfortable at times and yet enchantingly addictive, I am simply obsessed with Hale and his wicked ways.
The whole fight, love, passion was giving me life.

The way Hale was so in tune with what Clara wanted and needed was so cute, I loved how he became so obsessive and observant with Clara, what I’m trying to say if you loved Gray your going to be obsessed with Hale.
I adored his darkness it made him such an enjoyable character to read you became very infatuated with him and his whole demeanour.

Clara is such a sheltered sweet character with some bad a** tendencies, I love how through Hale and the building of her self-confidence she became so much more of herself and she stood up herself and became such a beautiful character. I loved her so much!!

Having this trilogy come to an end is something I didn’t really want to think about because I’ve absolutely love the individual stories of each characters yet the continuous story throughout the whole trilogy, I loved these books and I’m going to truly miss them a lot!
This book and these characters were such a perfect last book!

I could never have thought up their story better it was perfect for them!

This is book 3 of the interconnected Deadly Love Series. Each book follows a different set of characters and can be read as a stand-alone but to get the most of the story it is suggested to read the books in order. I do highly suggest reading at least book 2, Deadly Match, prior to this one. This one does follow up on some unanswered questions left from book 2.

Cara has lived nothing but a live in a gilded cage. As the Mayor’s daughter no one even bothers to look at her too long, let alone touch her, so its no wonder she’s still a virgin. She’s sweet and demure, the perfect daughter, always following the rules…. but there’s a deep dark desire she just can’t shake. A desire for someone to just take from her…

Hale knew from the moment he laid eyes on Cara she’d be his. And that was before he even knew her name. One look and he stole her first kiss. One touch and he stole her innocence. But that’s what she wanted right? For someone to take with out asking. For someone to say yes even when she said no. But is she stealing his soul in return? No one can give Cara the dark fantasies she craves like Hale can.

Holy Hale! (yes I went there 😏) This book had me hooked before I even started it. The sneak chapter of Hale and Cara we got at the end of book 2 had me sold immediately. If you thought Gray was psychotic.. wait until you meet Hale. I DEVOURED this book. Absolutely could not put it down. It is heavy on the triggers so as always, check those. This book lays heavy into a CNC aspect. I will say I feel like the first time our MCs are together is going to draw a VERY fine line between non-con/dub-con/cnc for some people. I’m sure different readers will perceive it different ways. To each their own.

That being said… this book, it was so good! Daddy Hale is nastyyyyyy in all the best ways. Like I can’t even begin to explain. This man’s dirty talk 🥵 There were a few …ahem… ‘things’ they did that had my mouth hitting the floor. Like, I’m no stranger to blood play but …. woah 😳 I found the ‘villain’ to be slightly predictable but it didn’t take away from the book. Some times you just want that “I knew it!” moment. If you read the other books in this series then you know what you’re in for. Extremely psychotic, obsessive, lethally dangerous alpha males. Touch her and die males. This book hit all those marks. All the unanswered questions About Gray from book two are answered by the end of this book. I’m SO sad this series is over but I was so happy to have an extended epilogue where we heard from all six of our main characters we fell in love with over the series. At this point, ANYTHING these two lady’s write, I will read it, no questions asked. 🖤

This is the third book in the Deadly Love Series. Each of these books is about a different set of characters. You can read this as a standalone but the themes from the other books will carry over into the other books. I have read the first two books and loved them as much as this one so you won't regret reading them too. This is Cara and Hales story. This is also the darkest of the three stories and I absolutely cold not wait to get to read this book. I was so curious after the last book about both Cara and Dale. And something was off with Cara the last time we saw her too. We learned about her in that book that Cara is following in her fathers footsteps even though she doesn't want to. She is for sure under his control and what he says is law. The only time she get to really be herself is when she is behind closed doors. It's behind those closed doors that she finds one night of passion that she is never going to forget. However he awakens something in Cara and she can never get enough of her strangers. He gives her things she has never ever dreamed of experiencing all in the shadow as not to show his face. But one day he does show his face and gets the complete opposite of the reaction he was expecting. She's not scared of him. She feels safe and protected. I so loved Cara. She is smart and spunky and so fun loving when she is with her bestie. Hale is super protective of her with a side of dominance and possessiveness. He makes her feel wanted and protected and she makes him want to be a better man. These two are so perfect for each other. However, what I have said about he book is not all the book is about. There are twists and turns. Passion and edge of your seat memories. You really will enjoy this book and the other in the series I am sure.

Oh. My. Gawd…
When these ladies said this was the darkest book of the three, zero lies were detected! This book is going to give you a jaw injury from it hitting the floor so hard! 😲😆

I said Gray was my favorite after reading his book. He couldn’t be beaten. Until Hale waltzed right on in and said ‘hold my MF beer princess’. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Daddy’s home!

The i̶n̶s̶t̶a̶l̶o̶v̶e̶ - scratch that - the i͟n͟s͟t͟a͟o͟b͟s͟e͟s͟s͟i͟o͟n͟ kicks off at the very start of the book. And it doesn’t taper off at any point like some stories tend to do. Nope. That obsession just continues to grow and grow leading towards one spicy scene after the next that will have your libido exploding like a raging volcano. This touched on a kink that you rarely see, or at least that I rarely see anyways. If you're a big fan of dub-con then buckle up and enjoy the ride that’s all I’m saying. 😉
Hale committed 200% and made all of her fantasies a reality - and then some. 😏

Hale’s personality is what draws you into his character at first because he’s so laid back most of the time and so funny! Not to mention his bromance with Gray is absolutely adorable!! He’s completely unhinged and has not a care in the world about it. But when he lets his villainous side really shine he will steal your breath with his dirty AF words and snatch the soul from your body with all the k!nky f*ckery he brings to the bedroom! (Seriously his whole ‘Daddy’ kink is 🤌🏻) But he’s not stopping there - the finishing move is to melt what’s left of you into a puddle with the possessive and swoon-worthy things he thinks and says as he worships the only thing in his life he cares about. Cara.

Then of course the main plot that flows throughout the book will have you floored and hooked until the very end. Hands down the best book was saved for the last book. And I’m both sad that the series is finished and thrilled with how it all ended. That bonus epilogue at the end wrapped this whole group of wild-as-hell characters up in such a beautiful life.

And as the authors so perfectly said it -
