I've looked through a couple of books like this and so far I like this one the best. It still did not quite meet my needs. It didn't have all the herbs that I was looking for and I wanted pictures of what possible problems looked like. It was however clear and easy to ready having simple but beautiful black and white sketches of each plant listed.

Easy to use although American-centric it does include mentions of Canada! Offers illustrations and tips and tricks on planting veggies I had never seen.
