Honestly, i have grown to hate the MC (with all the love and admiration for the author). She’s new to this world, until a month ago didn’t even knew that werewolfs and witches existed, and everytime something happens she just want to do everything alone, putting herself at tremendous risk, without even knowing what she’s doing. Like she tried to rescue her friend, without even telling the alpha?? Like i get that she’s wanted to be a “badass” or something, but like, come on girl, you just discovered everything, just chill, ask around first.
I feel like the reincarnation thing was really confusing and didn’t have the proper explanation. I dont feel like it intertwined well with the rest of the plot.
And, honestly, i hated the end scenes. Everything was REALY rushed. All of the sudden we discovered who killed her ancester, that her best friend was a wolf, she managed to kill her grandmother (who was really strong and just let her kill her??) and the witches just accept her?? Nothing made sense with what was previously writen. Her grandmother didn’t need to die, she could train her daughter and build the peace if that was really her endgame. The witches would never have accepted her, they love her grandmother and worship her ground. And the bff being a wolf was just ??? It came out of nowhere and without need.
I feel like the whole trilogy could have been more interesting if it explained the key points of the universe better, and spent less time trying to create a love triangle.

good

This book is the third and final part of Fallon and Lucas’s story. Finally, we get to hear the full story behind the curse, and how it came to be. We also find out what’s going on with Fallon’s heritage.

This book is really the book of answers. Fallon has mated with Lucas, which lead to more revelations, but it doesn’t mean that the lifting of the curse will be that easy…
As more secrets and lies are exposed, we find ourselves discovering that life isn’t quite that simple, and there is far more to it all than meets the eye.

The book ends with a hook, because of course no-one wants the loyal Tristan to be bereft, and I admit I’m. Looking forward to reading about him and Falon’s frenemie Jeannie in the future.

An enjoyable tale, this one is for those who like paranormal romance, romantasy, and a fairytale retelling of Red-Riding Hood, where the grandmother is the villain!

awwww! amazing!

I was definitely not prepared for the events that presented with that ending!!! I’m sad to see the end of Fallon and Lucas. But it’s not the true end because our favorite beta is gunna get his story in the last book!! Yay!!!!! Ok but first. So we have the wicked grandmother and her evil henchmen. Listen- my child’s name is Remy and he’s a sweet but crazy kiddo- and I just wanted to beat up book Remy because how dare he be a bad guy with my kids name lol!! Needless to say- I am absolutely shocked with his ending role. And how it played out. I’m also kinda speechless with grandma Marie. Like she was the bad guy, and yet her ending… her last conversation with Fallon…. Maybe she initially had good intentions. And jade, well, I think I might like her a little. After that rescue. But the magic and the romance and the plot twist! I just love it all!!

There were some tense moments but overall the story wrapped up nice and neat. I never felt much empathy for the characters in this last book. Were the residents of Winter Creek now going to start to age normally since the curse was broken? Why didn’t the Luna twins return to their goddess? Why are Jeannie and Tristan (did his leg ever fully heal?) going to have their romance explored but nothing about Jade’s quest. Couldn’t a different family take over running the coven or have it merge with another? How did it benefit the witches? The clothing manufacturing seemed to be the main focus. The “coven above all” life choice didn’t make any sense and I would go out of my way to avoid doing anything that Marie desired.

It was just okay. I really liked the first 2 books but this one just felt...cheesy for lack of a better term. I feel like Sarah could have gone into more detail about literally everything and I'm still at a loss as to why the madame would kill her own son and not say boo when Jolie was killed but then would become part of the curse to bring the coven and wolves together? She had literally nothing to gain from that except her own death. So that could have been explained in more detail. Otherwise I didn't hate the book and I'll read book 4 (the spin off book) but I'll just say it wasnt the best book I've read so far this year but also wasn't the worst. 7/10.

This rating is for the entire trilogy -

Despite the story being good, the whole book was over-written. The leads are saying and repeating the same thing over and over again and it made reading this series so boring. I have skimmed over the series just to get to the main plot.

I really wish that the writer had focused more on the flow of the story.

Good but repetitive

A really good trilogy with a good storyline and characters. He reason for the 3 stars is due to the repetitive storyline mentioned by Fallon hundreds of times over the 3 books. Also a shame we didnt see more of her witch side than right at the end. Sexual content.

So she thought she was human but Hell no she was so much more when things finally quite down and got back to a bit of normality she wanted to try to shift and use her nose and senses to help the pack then she heard someone at the big gates she got an envelope but it wasn't for her but she new better when she opened it she realised it was for her

Good story

Good story but this 3rd book got a little repetitive in some parts with Fallons internal dialogue about her and Lucas. Kind of seemed like filler but overall I still loved the series

Predator (Wolves of Winter Creek Book 3)

What can I say! I love Fallon and Lucas's story and am thrilled they are finally together like they should be. Excited about Book 4 showcasing Jeannie and Tristan.

and that’s a wrap folks…

Great book to tie up all of Jolie/Fallon’s story and the beginning of her destiny.

Old characters come back, secrets are revealed, and the world expands.

There is character growth, great world building, and a nice “closer” to Fallon’s trilogy.
