What is the difference between romantic and friendship love? What s premarital sexual intimacy so damaging to a relationship? Is there one Mr. Right or Miss Perfect for me? How can I tell when I've met the person I'm to marry? What is the difference between a temple marriage and a celestial marriage?
my brother gave me this book as a present because he thinks i'm too young for dating as seriously as i am....Hm...its actually pretty interesting once you start reading it!
- loved this book! - stories and quotes from church leaders throughout - very informative and almost step-by-step - would be great to read with a significant other right before marriage
I'm currently reading this book for the second time. It's filled with a plethora of excellent quotes form LDS apostles and general authorities as well as pertinent references from the standard works.
McIntosh's experience as an institute teacher gives him a valuable insight into the lives of his target audience, young adults.
If you're LDS and still in the dating game (even if you're in a serious relationship) I highly recommend this to you!
This seriously is one of the greatest books I've read on true love. It's an LDS book, so it made it even better! I learned so much, especially in the last few chapters that centered on Christ and a Temple marriage.
There is so much more I still need to learn, but I can't wait to have my future spouse take a look at this book :)
Although the title is a little humorous making this all important question so simple, the book content is rather insightful. The author helps everyone take off the rose colored glasses and really see the compatibility that can and will in the future developed a deep and passionate love in marriage. Fun and insightful relationship read on a very difficult question.
I read this book while I was engaged to my husband. It has very thought provoking questions. I've have bought copies of this book and mailed them to friends and family who were considering marriage.
read this book before i met mark, and it was great. i learned alot about myself, the type of person i wanted to marry and the type of person i wanted to be as well.
A few good pointers in here or there, to reaffirm anything before jumping into marriage. Trouble is, at this point I'm nowhere close to anything like that. Just working on getting a boyfriend.
