This book would be absolutely great in a kindergarten classroom! This would be something that you could read out loud to the class and they would be entertained and they could follow along and see all the different letters. I think it would help a lot with them remembering the letters of the alphabet and being able to recognize the letters in words.

Countdown to Kindergarten: Letter A

Alexander gets up in the middle of the night and wants something to drink. When he goes to the kitchen he finds much more than the glass of water he desired. Goes through the whole alphabet.

I actually read this book a few weeks ago. I had a project that required me to find books that pertained to my eating activity. I really enjoyed that fact that as he was eating the food from the kitchen, you could follow it because it was in alphabetical order. I like how it featured snacks that most children may have heard of or know about themselves.
