Tamara Knight used her skills as a healer to save the hunk of a hermit next door. While caring for him, her awareness of his rugged sensuality and commanding strength kept her awake at night. His gruff exterior hid secrets he wouldn't share, but that didn't stop Tamara from sharing herself or her bed with him in nights filled with mind-blowing passion.
When Kyle Austin opened his home to lovely Tamara, he almost forgot his painful past. Even as he warmed to her intoxicating touch, he was working out a plan, because now Tamara was all that mattered.

Just another AMAZINGLY sweet love story! This novel was a page-turner from beginning to end. The attraction and desire between Tamara and Kyle was instant and very passionate! Mr. Jordan has a way of making you feel like you your watching a very entertaining movie. The storyline flowed effortlessly and the dialogue was very witty. I thoroughly enjoyed the verbal sparring between Tamara and Kyle. Tamara, like her brother Shayne is strong and noble in character. She has such compassion and a strong desire to always help those in need, be they human or animal. And she definitely believed in speaking her mind, she didn't hold back or bite her tongue. Kyle Austin was a man who had become bitter and although he was settled and finally accepted his blindness, he was definitely dependent on those around him and didn't have any desire to become the independent man he used to be before the accident. At least, not until Tamara walked into his life and turned his world upside down. She made him want to be a better man, a whole man, an independent man despite his blindness. He wanted to be her hero, her KNIGHT in shining armour! And with Tamara's pushy, yet loving encouragement he set out to make changes in his life. I loved the way Tamara's family readily accepted Kyle, even though he'd been "out of the loop" for 5 years plus, they made him feel as if he were one of their own and had never left the "family fold". The secondary characters are definitely memorable and only added more depth and enjoyment to this story. I can hardly wait to read about the final Knight's tale. I would also love to read more about the Knight's circle of friends, new and old (HINT, HINT, HINT...lol). A definite MUST Read, you will not be disappoined!
Tamara knows what she wants out of life, career and her neighbor! Kyle is dealing with serious issues and had decided to recluse himself. Tamara opens him back up to the world and their journey enriches them both! #readingandreviewingchallenge
To Love a Knight is book two in Wayne Jordan's Knight Trilogy, and is a beautiful romance story. The main characters, veterinarian Tamara Knight and retired West Indies cricketer Kyle Austin, embeded themselves in my heart, yet alternately worked my nerves. But I never gave up on the inevitability of their happily-ever-after. From their first encounter to the last page of the book, the story vividly described their intense sexual attraction, failed attempts at suppressing passion, while blocking memories of past tragedies and hurtful relationships, The artfully intermingled plot and subplots, along with realistic characters, held my interest and made me feel as though I was an invisible observer. I was also thrilled by the inclusion of family and friends from book one, One Gentle Knight.
Tamara starts out as the nosy and intrusive neighbor who wants to not only open her veterinary clinic and heal animals, but also to help heal Kyle, her reclusive and disabled neighbor, who was her high school and college man crush. He had been a star West Indies cricket player; but after a tragic accident, he unexpectedly retired and dropped from sight. Tamara quickly realizes that Kyle needs to accept his disability and also seek out ways to positively deal with and manage it, things he has adamantly refused to even consider. Although grouchy and brusque, Kyle finds his defenses slowly breaking down as Tamara gently pushes him toward reintegrating into society. It's tough and frustrating, but with the help of her family, Kyle's assistant, Jared, and even clinic animals, Tamara succeeds and becomes not only the wind beneath his wings, but the reason for a love and passion he's never known before.
This was a well-written, poignant, and enlightening story that touched not only the characters, but me as well. I've already started book 3 and can't wait to see how Russell Knight's story evolves. Thanks to author, Wayne Jordan, for another great romance.
What a wonderful love story of Kyle and Tamara, these two were had me rooting for them from the beginning.
Kyle Austin was a man who had everything, he was a world class cricket player, rich, handsome and sexy, playboy. And with within a matter of minutes his life completely changed. Oh he was still rich, handsome and sexy but no longer the cricket player nor the playboy because you see Kyle became blind following the car accident. He has loved as a reclusive hermit for the past five years. He lived in obscurity away from the limelight, he had a cook and she cleaned his home and he had a live in attendant. He refused all acts of love and had made up in his mind that this is how he will love out the rest of his days.
Tamara Knight, younger sister to Shayne and fraternal twin to her brother Russell. She is a veterinarian who has opened up her own practice. She is a lover of people and especially animals. Her heart is open and full and she meets her next door neighbor the reclusive Kyle. Well you can imagine that the sparks flew between these two. Tamara had no problem with Kyle, the problem was Kyle with her lol!!! For you see Tamara was a Ray of sunshine, she was a bright light determined to shine in Kyle darkness. Now we must understand that his life prior was not an easy one, in his youth he experienced Greta loss and heartache. So he never allowed himself to love anyone else. So in his ind Tamara was an intrusion to his lonely peace. A dark peace she was determined to shatter by all means and bring him him light peace.
Fantastic story of love and triumph, rooting for the heroine and the hero. Knowing that sometimes in life we are faced with adversities, loss and heartache but one thing will always remain spot on true love is always perfect. And that is why this story was so poignant because we walk around in life thinking that in order for me to have this perfect life everything must be right. But what happens when their are flaws some visible or invisible, are you capable of loving a person and are you willing to see their heart?
This is the story you will read and will be challenged with. I know I was and it caused me to really question myself about the depths of my heart and love for a man. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a story where love triumphs over all.
loved this book ! Nobody writes a strong yet vulnerable man like Mr. Jordan! Kyle is initially a bitter recluse because of his blindness but there's nothing like the love and determination of a headstrong woman. What really got me hooked was the way the author describes the surroundings without the benefit of sight. When reading from Kyle's pov, you still get a feel of the island even though he can't describe what a single thing looks like. Quite fascinating really. Highly recommend this one!
Tamara Knight had the joyous job of helping a blind man to see. To help him see that love is what you make of it. Kyle Austin had a big mountain to climb to get himself to the other side clear of the misfortune that has plagued his life for many years around Christmas. To love a Knight gave him the promise of a future that he never dreamed of.
