Karl and Kenzie. Boy did Karl give me some worries. But I realized he was a good man, but slow and cautious. Apparently somebody pegged him as just slow and tried to do him a bad deal. I really like Kenzie and decided she needed to cut bait with Karl. As the story continued, I decided that I smelled a rat. This rat has died and was sending up a stink. Karl’s slowness paid off later. I personally agree that remarriage if possible for believers. If God can forgive other sins, I believe His grace extends to mistakes in our marriages that regrettable ends or ended in divorce. While Marcia did cheat on him, the issue with Marcia is she was a serial cheater, liar, and deceiver.
Unrelated review-I did not like the book’s cover.

This book drives a lot of emphasis on how you manage and over trails and tribulation in life as a christian. The Story is Juicy!!
We meet Kenzie and Pastor Karl in book 1. They are preparing for their wedding in this book, when an unexpected issue arises between Karl and his ex wife Marcia. Yes, Marcia is the devils daughter! she just doesn't want to see Pastor Karl happy and this puts a big strain on Kenzie's and Pastor Karl's relationship. Will they overcome and still get married or is this the breaking point for Kenzie, bare in mind Pastor Karl try to hide the big issue from Kenzie and his trifling ex tell her about it . Read the book to find out.

Standards

Judgement, perceptions & opinions some “nosy” body always has too much to say about another person’s life especially in the church. No grace, no mercy just shame, gossip & ridicule about believers 🤦🏾‍♀️‼️ Clearly this same preoccupation is rampant in in fiction (🤔😂..shameful). Nonetheless, “Better Late Than Never 2: An African American Christian Romance” was a great read. Lots of life lessons and moments of introspection to remember (or learn) God alone established standards for our living. Divorce is not the unpardonable sin. …this book was well written 👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿💐‼️

Five 🌟

I'm in love with this author's work! This installment was just as good as part one. I loved reading Karl's point of view. It showed that even pastors are human - they make mistakes and have to research the Word like everyone else.
This series was so refreshing and eye opening. One of the best works in the Christian Fiction genre I've read. Highly recommended.

Exposed

The second story of Karl and Kenzie was definitely a rollercoaster ride. As they say what’s done in the dark will be revealed. Karl’s past came back to haunt him at the most unimaginable time. His keeping secrets were definitely the reason for all the drama. It proved getting ahead of a possibly not so happy situation can help you avoid so much drama.

What can I say about this, except I couldn't stop reading it. I loved it from beginning to end. Tou did it again. Cannot wait for what's next as usual!
I'm not going to give away anything, so you will just have to read it for yourself.

Better late than never2

I feel like Karl deserves the stressful time he went through. He was doing too many unnecessary stressing and not been prayerful about his situation. He was talking to everyone but the right one.

Enjoyable

The author writes so easily and simple. God's Word is easy and can explain itself. I am excited to read this storyline and the uncomplicated way the scriptures are interpreted. The author has become a favorite!

research

This book is really good and made you think about how people take scriptures to fit. Fit the situation for them instead of looking at all the Contents
