EXCERPT FROM THE RECKLESS UNION
Does he plan on keeping me forever?
A shiver steals through me at the thought.
If he sent those photos to my husband, Perry will kill him when he finds us. He hates Seamus with every fiber of his being, as well he should. And you know what?
I do, too.
Without warning, the door swings open and in walks Seamus. Larger than life, tall and imposing and so, so dark. Like an ominous cloud, filling up the space. He stands over me, his hands on his hips, his scowl aimed right at me. It slowly softens, until his lips are curved into the faintest smile.
“Don’t you look pretty all tied up.” That familiar Irish brogue washes over me and I’m immediately infuriated.
“My husband is going to kill you when he sees those photos you took of me,” I spit out at him.
I think of Perry and his smiling face. That look in his eyes he gets right before he kisses me. Will I ever see it again? Feel his lips on mine? Hear his laughter?
Seamus chuckles, like I amuse him. “Kill me? Please. He’s going to take one look at the security footage from your building and think you left with me. Willingly. He’s not looking for you. He thinks you’re cooperating with me—and trying to trick him with those photos.”
No. Perry would know I’d never leave with Seamus without a fight.
Wouldn’t he?
I think of the footage the cameras might’ve caught. How I’m walking through the lobby, turning to face Seamus. Did I look like I wanted to talk to him? I willingly sought him out. He held a gun to my side, but did anyone actually see it?
What if they didn’t?
“Why did you take those photos of me then?”
“Collateral.” His expression turns smug. “I might need to use them later.”
God, I hate this man. Everything that happened between us feels like a lifetime ago. Seeing Seamus the morning of my wedding had been a total shock to the system. Completely unexpected and downright surreal. How could he suddenly appear in front of me on my wedding day? What are the chances?
I’m realizing there’s no such thing as chance encounters.
“So you didn’t send them to Perry?”
“Oh, but I did.” He kneels in front of me, his grin almost feral. “He hasn’t come to your rescue yet though, has he? Guess he doesn’t care about you as much as you thought.”

I liked this one better than the second, but not as good as the first.
In the first book of this series, I had the illusion this would be sooo good.
I was anxious for Perry's story.
Perry is a bit possessive, but Monica didn't do that right.
This series was the first Monica books I've read, don't know how her characters are, maybe she's not used to the Constantine's dynamic and mess up a bit.
The rings and the necklaces...
She made Perry look stupid.
I liked Finn, Charlotte's brother, he's mysterious.
I was hoping for an old fashion Morelli vs Constantine fight.
But no, Monica made a villain, not being a true villain.
I wanted Seamus to do something bad, repulsive, I wanted to hate him.
But I just felt sorry for him.
I was hoping for him, to have a HEA too, is that ironic, right?
So this is the villain Monica brought to us.
I loved Charlotte saved herself.
She didn't wait for any men to save her.
Not her brothers, I'm not even mention her father, or Perry.
Seamus is pathetic.
He's not a challenge.
The real trouble were with each other, Perry didn't trust Charlotte.
But it has funny scenes.
What started fake, ended real, as it should be.

Turning to Charlotte’s brothers, Grant and Finn, when she’s abducted, Perry is forced to confront his feelings for his new bride.
A product of her upbringing, Charlotte is wary and has suffered from low self-esteem throughout her life. She comes into her own in The Reckless Union and it was good to see.
That said, despite the undeniable chemistry, Perry and Charlotte’s happily ever after was not an easy one. However, Charlotte’s kidnapping paved the way for both considerable character and relationship growth. This also gave us more of the relaxed, happy-go-lucky Perry that we’re all enamored with.
The Wedded Bliss series was another excellent installment in the Midnight Dynasty world. I loved the character appearances from Winston and Ash and am really hoping we’ll see a book for Grant and Alyssa. Even the small interactions were enough to intrigue me!

perry and charlotte are everything!!!! i have loved them from their very first book and loved seeing them grow and fall more and more in love with each other in each book. this was the most perfect conclusion to perry and charlotte’s story. i have been rooting for them since the beginning. charlotte truly deserves the whole world and perry is the most perfect husband. i love this book, this couple and trilogy so much.

Please don’t continue reading this review if you haven’t read the other two books in the series, I don’t want to spoil anything! Charlotte is in a dangerous situation, Seamus McTiernan wants revenge and he will not stop until he has her. But Perry is not having it. Charlotte belongs to him now and he will protect her no matter what. Will this story have a happy ending? Let’s find out!

What a roller coaster this trilogy has been! I am seriously addicted to the Constantine/Morelli world that this great list of authors are giving us. Murphy does not disappoint with Perry and Charlotte’s love story and I have to say this third book is my top favorite. We are finally seeing a new light in this love story, the couple falls in love and it’s such a treat to read. I loved reading how these two evolve together and how their chemistry becomes so much more than what they expected. Of course, there is some drama and suspense mixed in there and that also makes the story more entertaining and interesting.

Therefore, I am rating The Reckless Union with 4.5 STARS because Monica Murphy has given Perry and Charlotte Constantine the ending they deserved. These two go through a lot together, especially in this third installment, and it’s wonderful to read their journey as a couple and how they fall madly in love with one another. I hope Monica writes more stories in this world because she has given us an amazing addition to it with this trilogy!

"It's too much with Perry, it's always too much, and I get swept away."
This is the third book in the series and I was eager to read what happens especially after the cliffhanger in the last book. Charlotte & Perry didn't have an easy journey but they definitely grew closer along the process. While the first few chapters were serious, the rest of the part felt like an epilogue novella. Perry changed quite a bit, he grew more serious and intense in the second book but it was good to see his playfulness come alive again in this one. Though this book was short, I could connect with every single character. And can we please get a book for Grant & Alyssa? Because their crumbs were just top-tier! I can't seem to get enough of the Midnight Dynasty world. All the characters are amazingly constructed and the setting is brilliant. And the epilogue was just so cute and wholesome!

Sensational ending to Perry and Charlotte’s story! There was much passion and insecurity in this couples interactions that I could not stop rooting for this couple to survive and endure what life was shovelling at them. The Morelli’s and Constantine’s have always captured my attention and Monica Murphy has created excitement and anticipation of more to come.
This story is wonderful and I hope to see more of this couple in future Midnight Dynasty books.

The conclusion to CharlottePerry’s story and it was absolutely perfect. We pick up pretty much right where we left off in the Ruthless Groom. I don’t want to give it all away, so I’ll just say we get plenty of CharlottePerry in this and while the first two books struggled a bit to have a plot outside of “do we like each other,” I think this one had a good subplot to follow along with as you also get to see Charlotte & Perry figure things out and reach their HEA! That’s all, now before I go.. can we get Finn? He feels a little mysterious and I want something. Even if it’s just a quickie like Grants 😂 ok, I’ll leave now.

Oh my goodness- Perry Constantine, you'll always have my heart! Monica Murphy enchanted us with one of Midnight Dynasty's most beloved characters, seamlessly transforming him into an epically dreamy leading man. And in Reckless Union, Monica Murphy gives us the most charming and swoony Midnight Dynasty story yet, with just the right dash of delicious edge. What an addictive and heartfelt finale for Perry and Charlotte-one I ravenously devoured in one sitting!
I’m so happy Monica gave us Perry’s story- and merged it with a world of hers I also adore. In this finale, we see all new sides of Perry- the swoony, the mess, even the disappointing, because his feelings for Charlotte scratch under the sweet and playful veneer we’ve seen in other books. Perry is every bit the teddy bear of the Morelli-Constantine world, but we’ve only seen him through other’s eyes before this trilogy. And of course Winston, our hard edged, dark, and twisted eldest brother would see Perry as nothing but the playful, soft-hearted, aimless baby brother, as a secondary character. But Monica has given us Perry the leading man- one with flaws we haven’t seen before, with insecurities and mistrust, a man where his soft heart causes him to be reckless and distrustful, even petulant at times- all paired with his endless love, his protectiveness, his sass and charisma. Because as a leading man, we have to see the highs and lows of our characters, their breaks and imperfections- we get a whole and substantive Perry, the one behind his sunshine. And I loved that we see him grow from that, that we aren’t restrained to a static perception we had from seeing him through others. NOW we see Perry through his own mind.
The real triumph is Charlotte- I FLOVE this heroine, so hard. What a survivor, what an endless well of grace and strength. While she certainly has those in her life that genuinely love her (her brothers, Perry), she has often been failed by them- either their own selfishness or their blindness to see just how much she was a pawn in more powerful and manipulate men’s games. But I love watching her emerge as self-assured, strong, determined, with her vulnerability and optimism in tact. She forgives a lot, and with an open heart, and it makes me love her even more. She’s a gentle soul in a sea of corruption and male fragility, and I loved rooting for her. It takes a special heroine to not only sparkle beside Perry but for me to feel like PERRY has to prove his worthiness of her. They are certainly not perfect and have SO much drama to face, but their HEA is so sweet, and I loved them together.
This finale doesn't go quite how I expected it, but it's loads of drama and a fast paced read. Yet another great Midnight Dynasty story.

But I love watching her emerge as self-assured, strong, determined, with her vulnerability and optimism in tact. She forgives a lot, and with an open heart, and it makes me love her even more. She’s a gentle soul in a sea of corruption and male fragility, and I loved rooting for her. It takes a special heroine to not only sparkle beside Perry but for me to feel like PERRY has to prove his worthiness of her. They are certainly not perfect and have SO much drama to face, but their HEA is so sweet, and I loved them together.
This finale doesn't go quite how I expected it, but it's loads of drama and a fast paced read. Yet another great Midnight Dynasty story.

The Reckless Union is the final book in the
Arranged Marriage
trilogy by Monica Murphy featuring Perry Constantine and Charlotte Lancaster. What began as a marriage of convenience between two strangers has transformed into one of love and passion between the two. This book immediately picks up after the events of The Ruthless Groom and Charlotte is in danger following her reckless decision to meet up with Seamus McTiernan—the "antagonist" of the story. Truthfully, I wasn't exactly sold on this supposed villain because he reeked of desperation and selfishness. His decision to kidnap Charlotte was hilariously idiotic considering that she was already married to Perry and would never take him back. I was glad this issue was resolved relatively quickly as I was more interested in the developing relationship between Perry and Charlotte.
There is no denying the fact that Perry and Charlotte have grown as characters, especially as a couple, since we first met them in The Reluctant Bride. Charlotte had to experience some internal growth and realization of her love for Perry. Although she briefly became a shell of herself, I loved that Perry was able to help her find herself again. On the other hand, Perry remains true to the character that I have always known him to be ever since we were first introduced to him in Skyscraper Cinderella—extremely loyal, reckless, caring, carefree, and capable of love. The colorful nicknames he had for Seamus were hilarious and creative. I personally thought he experienced the most change after he almost lost Charlotte and realized his love for her. Perry knew that he had to grew up, and he did.
In the end, I enjoyed this trilogy and would recommend it to fans of the Midnight Dynasty world because it features the reckless and lovable Perry Constantine—a prominent and recurring character that has been featured in several books so far. Charlotte and Perry simply burned up the pages with their chemistry and passion for each other. It was interesting to note that the more Perry became possessive of Charlotte, the more secure and happy she felt in their relationship. Even though it took time for their love to develop, I was still captivated by their relationship because it felt natural for them to be unsure at first. This was, after all, an arranged marriage between two people who had never met each other before. I recommend this series to those who like the arranged marriage trope between a recklessly charming and possessive hero with his sweet and doubtful heroine.

So this series focuses on the arranged marriage between Perry and Charlotte. If you're looking for something like that - modern arranged marriage - this is it, but there are better ones out there.
If you're looking for something hot and quite kinky sometimes bordering on Eww, you've got this series despite all the drama in the remaining pages that will make you roll your eyes.
If you really like Midnight Dynasty Collection and you've read quite a few books of that universe, you really have to read this series not only to know Perry better but also to remember Winston's (my favourite Constantine 😈) humour.
Yes I read this series for the third reason 🙋♀️ and I will probably read Charlotte's brothers books also by this author to give her another chance.

Awww... I love Perry and Charlotte! The conclusion of their story was everything I wanted! Perry gets to be her Hero while she also figures some things out for herself. He stands up to her dad. Caroline is still a ..... well Caroline. And I am noy going to lie... I did want to push her over a time or 2. For being one of the people that arranged their marriage she sure isn't all that nice of a mother in law to Charlotte.... ugh! Whatever. Anyways.... I was happy with the way their story went. I love Perry and knew he would be a super swoony Hero! And I think Charlotte, though chosen for him, is exactly who he needed!

This series was pretty good, I must say. Found it to be a wee bit underwhelming hence why I didn't give it a solid 5⭐️. Also ngl, the name Perry had me giggling in the beginning because all I kept thinking about was Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb bahahahah😂😂😂 Still a good trilogy tho overall😊🥰

What a great ending for Charlotte and Perry's story.
From complete strangers to being in love this couple made their own way and did it well. With so many outside influences between both of their families it was good to see them both find their voice. Loved these two from the start and looking forward to more Constantine vs Morelli drama in the future!

The third and final book picks up right where book 2, The Ruthless Groom left off.
Despite their union having started as a sham with an arrange marriage, they have to admit that it has become so much more.
You brought me light. You brought me laughter. You brought me sexual frustration and lust and so much more. You showed me what it’s like to connect with a woman at the deepest level. You brought me Jasper and Doja—” A watery laugh leaves me. “—and you brought me… you.
To me Perry is the epitome of a caring Alpha male, he is unapologetic about sex, passionate and possessive. He is the whole package and nobody is touching, hurting or taking away his wife.
The book is the perfect conclusion to a series where everything comes together seamlessly, despite arsehole daddy and spineless mommy.

GAH, I really hated reading the end of this trilogy! Perry & Charlotte had my heart from the beginning of their journey and Monica Murphy made the journey impossible to not be completely captivated by it. When the ARC for Reckless Union landed on my kindle I immediately started from the beginning because these two crazy kids are addictive and I wanted to make sure I experience every single detail of their story. It’s not as dark as some of the other stories in this world but absolute perfection for Perry & Charlotte!
Out of all three of the books in this trilogy, I’d say that this one is probably the most action / drama packet of them all and it really solidified the growth that Perry & Charlotte had gone thru from a love/hate arranged marriage to a true love/soulmate marriage. They jumped thru a lot of hoops to get to where they are right now, and their story lifted me up as much as it broke my heart. I think that reading this trilogy (the second time around) as a #bingeread made my reading experience more intense, especially since the individual books are not particularly long. This is my way of letting you know that if the opportunity arises for you to read their story in one fail swoop, grab it!

I enjoyed The Reckless Union entirely too much. Perry and Charlotte got so much. They also grow more in love. With Perry finally coming to terms with the way he feels, we see him become the type of hero we all know and love. At the end of the second book, Charlotte has been kidnapped by her ex-lover. Perry is tested and proves that love can conquer all! Overall, I enjoyed this so much and have already made my rounds for the others books in the world thag have been written by other authors.

I was hooked from the very first page of The Reluctant Bride all the way until the end. This is my favorite Midnight Dynasty story.
They really went through a lot in order to finally get their HEA. You saw them fall little by little in love with each other - what started out as a arranged/forced marriage for strangers turned into a beautiful love story. I appreciated the devotion Perry showed from the moment he found out she needed saving and also he never strayed. Despite this being a fake union in the beginning and being told from his father-in-law and almost everyone else that he could find someone else and be discreet about it, Perry never did. He was loyal and faithful to Charlotte and we love to see that.
Their chemistry and intimate scenes were my favorites in this world. It was so real and so effortless.
Seamus did what he could to destroy them but I'm glad he never succeeded. I was so happy when her brothers finally showed that they love her and didn't hesitate to save her - unlike her awful parents.
Charlotte really came into her own in this one and saved herself (since she thought nobody would - which tbh is extremely sad). I do have to say the part where she said she was feeling sick, throwing up etc I knew she was pregnant as this was hinted back in book 2 when they had unprotected sex (more than they should have). Also I was so happy to see how Perry reacted to the possibility and eventual confirmation - normally the guy would get angry and walk out but he was happy despite their age.
We got a cute epilogue of them in the future with their son Reed and I loved it (and they talk about having a daughter).
Overall I really really liked this series and loved this couple.

i was really excited to start this book to finish off the series. i read this book really fast. i loved perry and charlottes development so much. Such a huge bummer. The level of insecurity their relationship has is immaculate. Perry and Charlotte’s relationship is based on lust, not love. And it got really annoying. I’m sure Perry doesn’t even know what type of toast she likes in the morning. I’m so disappointed, that I don’t even want to talk about how this book disappointed me.

The Reckless Union by Monica Murphy brings the sweet, sexy and action packed ending of Perry and Charlotte's arranged marriage romance. They may have married for family but they have built a connection that's strong and heartfelt.
Lancaster and Constantines are two wealthy and powerful family who wanted to make an alliance through Charlotte and Perry's marriage. But she gets kidnapped by her ex lover just after marriage. Perry has to get her back but it is a long road ahead for them.
Perry has been one of my favourite Constantine through Midnight Dynasty world. He has always been the sweetheart..the charming funny lighthearted guy. I am not sure I like this version of Perry. He gets angry and volatile and he took a long time to trust Charlotte. We do see his protective side in this book and losing Charlotte temporarily definitely put things into perspective for him. Now Charlotte is a kicka$$ heroine. She rescued herself and she stands fierce even when life throws curveballs after curveballs. She has been torn apart by her parents and her heartbreak. Her husband wasn't exactly warm to her. She deserves the world and I am so glad that Perry could finally see it. They had a rough journey but those epilogues make me believe that they have a pretty happily ever after.

What a ride. Finally the two understand each other. So beautiful. I wish there were more action to the plot, so it will make me feeling the edge of my seat. But overall good execution and stories. Well done, Monica!
