Calvin Brown is the bravest, strongest man she's ever known, and he's taken her to heights of passion she never knew existed. But as the circle of flames draws ever closer, Andrea wonders if even her overwhelming love for this man is strong enough to survive the terrible thought of a life without him….
Wow, what an exceptional amazing story told in a beautiful vocal way....I felt every single emotions, the triumph and the defeat of each of the character.
Elaine Overton did a genuinely excellent job of describing the characteristics of Andrea Chenault and Cal Brown true feelings threw this entire book. I found myself so intrigued and captive by the story itself and read this book in an hour. I laugh, cried, got nervous, scared and overjoy.
Our story was about a fireman, Cal Brown, who suffered from PTSD, but because of his pride, dignity and physical large size, he was somewhat ashamed to see psychological help. With his fiance, Andrea, a nurse, who desperately tried to help him, while helping her mother, Margaret, get out of a violent abusive relationship, from her father, Andrew.
I highly recommend this book and all other books by Ms. Overton for a realistic good reading experience! 😍
