Kept me up the first night as I had to follow her around Australia and feel the earthy lifestyle that was around her. Her strength is empowering and I reminisced about my own past and shared feelings of being the puppet for all to dictate because the young are too scared to object. Interesting story of a woman who just seemed to "get the rough end of the stick" and although spending a lot of her life in hospitals and prison, has come out this end with an education and a much better outlook on life.

What a shitty life this poor woman had. The abuse she suffered through and survived is amazing. She committed a crime and did her time for it, rehabilitating herself through writing and education. A very interesting read.
