This is a good book with a compelling narrative rather than a dense personal-development manual. It doesn’t deliver as many practical frameworks or real-life case studies as some of the genre’s heavyweights, but it still had a meaningful impact on me. The strength lies in the moral of the story and the way the author structures it — moving between memory, dreams, and the present — which feels different and engaging. Some elements, like the wife’s unconditional support and how neatly everything falls into place after an attitude shift, feel idealised and somewhat far-fetched. That said, it’s clear this was a deliberate choice to drive the message home. If you’re looking for a reflective, easy, story-driven reminder of core life principles rather than a tactical self-help playbook, this book is a good choice.
This is a fun little book with a message. Taking to heart in a big way that story telling helps the reader remember, Paluch ads some suspense to a short story designed to inspire and teach. Through diary entires and 'live' drama, he underscores the importance of attitude and follow through.
Lots of insight. I liked how he combined a self help/motivational book with a fiction story. Good writing style. I like his ideas, I wrote them down abc will use them :-).
