All About Lust

Rate this book
Innocent and naïve art student Wooseung has never dated anyone before. But he’s head over heels for his first love, the handsome upperclassman Sunjin. Wooseung dreams of confessing his feelings, holding hands, sweet kisses… and he’s delighted when Sunjin says the attraction is mutual! Just one major problem: Sunjin's idea of a relationship is much more hands-on! Can Wooseung handle all the steamy surprises Sunjin has planned for them?

Kang Beomchul and Kim Jaehee have been at each others throats for as long as everyone in their class remembers. One day, their argument brings them all the way to Jaehee’s house. While drunk, Beomchul spills some beer on Jaehee’s clothes, so he moved to take his shirt off, but then became enamored with Jaehee’s body. Their continued curiosity about each other cause them to start a lustful relationship. How will their complex intrigue bring them to a mutual love?

In a sea of toxic manhwas and mangas where authors apparently find it hard to actually write about characters that are not pure villains, this story truly stands out. The big breath of air I let out once I knew this was a book that actually sets the standards for a green flag characters on both ends was unbelievable. If I could get my hands on a hard copy of this, I’ll be the happiest. I wouldn’t mind rereading this one several times.

It's very ironic that in a sea of manhwa filled with mind-numbingly toxic relationships named "about love" or "something something love," this book actually revolves around healthy and consensual relationships but is titled "All About Lust." I went in very skeptically even though I was assured the main couples are in healthy relationships with not much drama. I'm glad they were telling the truth. But of course, they still have the miscommunication trope going on but compared to other books of the genre, it's an understandable amount of miscommunication. If you're tired of toxic bullshit, please try this one out. Just know that the art style for the first season is not that good but it had a HUGE glow up in second season, oh my god.

I loved all about this!

Healthy relationships. Communication (especially the first couple; the second couple was just a pair of idiots and I loved it). The comedy was *chef's kiss*, there wasn't a chapter where I didn't laugh. Lovable side characters. ACE REPRESENTATION!!!!!

The whole Manhwa is a green flag, hilarious, and refreshing. Definitely recommend!

4☆ Review:

This manhwa revolves around different forms of love and desire. Platonic, sexual, moe, philosophy, jealousy, and asexual.

This is a super easy, funny, and amusing read. This is the second time I’ve read it and I still enjoyed it.

Even though he was a side character, Joonwon (JJ) became my favorite character. I wish we could have gotten an extra story about him.

Both couples were so cute. I liked the relationship between Jaehee & Beomchul just a bit more because it had more drama. Plus, I loved how dense and in denial Beomchul was.

I recommend it if you’re wanting something lighthearted!

This is my second time reading this. I love love love the art style! It’s childish and cartoony but it has its maturity when the story calls for it. I also love the plot because it has its moments of tension but it’s not too gut-wrenching. I personally don’t like when stories go super deep into the issues the characters have. Speaking of characters, all of the characters are AMAZING. Love all of them.
Will read and reread forever :)

This series is hilarious, very cute and quite hot as well. I loved the sweetness of the first couple, and the second ones were, well… fun, at least. I really liked to see the art evolving and getting much better - check out the author’s sequel “There are no bad dogs in the world”, in which the full-page spreads get really amazing.
