After reading this, it really does change how to think about our forefathers and what life was like back then—and let me just confess, it’d be far too rugged for me. What the—? This is what I would have liked to have read in history, because it was unbelievably harsh. And everything different. A real education in appreciation for our ancestors surviving back then.
