The Spectrum of Migraine

Rate this book
This book consists of case descriptions of headache, prepared by headache specialists who range in their training family practice, internal medicine, dentistry, emergency medicine, and neurology. All of the cases are presented initially without a diagnosis; the diagnosis is then provided during the discussion. Recommended reading selections complete each chapter. The hope is that physicians will read the case presentations and try to come up with a diagnosis and approach to treatment before reading the discussion. The goal is to help physicians identify migraine in its many forms, as well as some common headache disorders sharing features with migraine, and to discuss up-to-date management of these headaches.
