A quick enjoyable read. Many strategies have been written about that are also in this book. But it is nice to have one short book that covers many great topics and gives you some powerful tools. I good start to improving your optimism and having more success and a better life.

Nothing new here in regard to self-help, but plenty of good reminders.

I am a sucker for books about optimism ever since reading Dale Carnegie's book in the early 1960's. So I fell for this one, and hopefully it will be my last. The authors are a husband and wife team who bill themselves as: "speakers, authors, psychologists, and a loving couple". That irritates me almost at much as the picture in which they look like June & Ward Cleaver, complete with pearl necklace and suspenders.
Beyond that, the information about being optimistic is from the matchbook school of psychology, along the lines of Snow White singing, " Whistle a Happy Tune" . Okay, I know, it's my fault for getting the book, but you know, I was so optimistic that it might tell me something that hadn't already been said like a 1,000 times in every self help book published from 1950 to present day.
