Ahh captain underpants! This was one of my books of all time. This was a book that teachers repeatedly yelled at me for reading it during class. i remember having it taken away saying that their was no purpose of me reading the book because it did not educate me but those teachers was wrong! After reading captain underpants and his odd stories i use to grab at least a good 5 sheets of paper and tried to make my on story similar to captain underpants.Dav Pilkey was an inspiring that helped encouraged me to write!

I loved this book. It use to be my favorite book when i was more younger. Its about a kid who loved to write about comics and the book showed it from a point of view were he was a super hero

I never read this specific book as a kid. I read one of the first ones but stopped because I was not a huge fan. I do not think it is the best for an elementary classroom. It does come off as kind of inappropriate.
This book is supposed to be cool for kids. The character goes on all types of cool adventures. In his underwear of course.
It is banned because it is even too eir for adults.
I think it being challenged is reasonable.

Miss 3 has devoured Captain Underpants at bedtime each night! She loves reading these (and the movie too!).

Miss 3 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.

I like comics but this one was to weird it always was like him plunging a toilet witch is weird. I think he never had a good plot and it always was the same story after another. It never feel it was a good read. He always was doing some thing foolish, I think it was very kiddish.

Captain underpants is very silly. The name explains itself. However it was so silly that it was fun to read. There really is no point in reading it just to waste time.
