I live in Massachusetts and I did not know all of these stories! I found it interesting but it made me feel a little sad reading tragedy after tragedy. Thankfully not everyone mentioned in the book dies in the events and it is always uplifting to hear about the brave souls that risk everything, just to help a total stranger!
