got on a whim recently and wanted to squeeze it in during the season of the namesake. kinda reminded me of norwegian wood, but with a more Romantic (era) tone. laid on the imagery/symbolism a bit thick especially with such minimalist style, but was pretty sweet. gonna have to go novel mode after this i think
Set against the backdrop of the suicide of an elder brother for love, the protagonist seems to be in the autumn of his own love affair during the springtime of his life. He fears the loss. Enjoyable, if quick, read.
