A good reference work, and because of this it is sometimes repetitive as it establishes arguments in relation to various texts multiple times. It contains a brief history of Mormonism but, as it was published in the 90's, I suspect some new developments have occurred within LDS, and perhaps certain doctrines have been explained differently by Mormon leaders in the past 30 or so years. I enjoyed the final chapters of the book which tell the author's personal testimonies, as well as some advice for engaging with Mormon missionaries.
