I love this book!! I taught for many years in the primary grades and this is one of the books I made sure to read to my class. Then one year I began typing my favorite books into plays for our class to read. I used 4 storyteller parts for the narrative, but my goodness, how the students wanted to be Polly Wog or Miss Lilywart!! Even the catfish part was coveted because the words were so cute: "Pardon me, but may I have a bite of your tiny toady toes?" And the parts of the girls having the tea party, also. Highly recommended but I believe it is out of print. You may be able to find used copies by clicking on the links on Goodreads.
