This is the first book in the Strictly Come Dancing series, and as each book focuses on different series they can be read out of order. The book is a behind the scenes look at the show,as well as giving you information on some of the contestants and professional dancers.
I really enjoyed the behind the scenes features in the book, particularly the pieces about the costumes and make up,and also the history behind the dances.
I didn’t feel the pages of dance steps were necessary as they were difficult to follow, but these things would however be interesting to watch as you could see how they were done visually,so maybe a dvd with the book would have been a better idea.
All in all I found the book very interesting, and would recommend it to fans of the show or fans of ballroom and Latin dancing.
