This is more of a 4.5, but I loved this one as much as the others. I love how Tristan's and Langston's books had more police work. Although the first did also, the last two went more in-depth and I loved it!
Also, I love when all the brothers are together. It's always a funny moment/saying that happens when they are together. I do wish we had more information and a separate book for Derek and Eden.
Out of all the books, Malik and Tina are still my favorite characters but Tristan's and Chelsea's book is my favorite overall story. The second book had twists that I didn't see coming. (Sorry Langston and Lisa, I still love yall though lol).

Overall this series was really good and kept me from getting into a reading slump!

No need to die.. Live!
The Clark series keeps getting more traction as the storyline continues. Daddy Clark is still my nemesis of no longer needed in the story person. It looks like Langston's ex Destiny, still thinks she needs a part. No, she needs to go away just like Dooke Daddy Clark. Lisa and Langston make a formidable couple. I like her smart mouth and feisty side. Cynthia Clark and King Isaac, I see you guys... Smiling..😀

3.5 🌟!
Langston and Lisa were hot like fire and I enjoyed seeing them develop their relationship under the guise of him protecting her and exploring a fwb situation. Langston realizing Lisa isn't like his exes at that banquet was a scene as well! I still wanted more to be explored or explained with the Destiny situation because it fell a bit flat for me and her bringing that man to the banquet too?! Like I just wanted an explanation for being dumb. I enjoyed Lisa handling that though. Overall I enjoyed the story and Elite Alliance's mention and the royal family situation with the king. A good book but Book 1 may be my favorite of the three books.

This was very nice, although that 3rd person threw me off many times I had to keep re-reading to make sure I understood.

Loved it!🤎🤎
From the very first page, the chemistry between L and L was hotter than July in Georgia! 🥵 No surprise there! That's definitely to be expected of a SNN novel. Even the fantasies and "dream visualizations" were hot and on point! Had me fanning myself.🔥🔥 The things Langston and Lisa explored were so darn sexy! I had to set my Kindle down on the bed to read some of those scenes because I was not about to let the flames coming from this story burn up my fingers!🤣
The action/suspense at the end was awesome, and my girl, err, excuse me, Lisa "Miss Bad@$$" Sharpton did not disappoint! She wasn't off cowering in the corner like ole girl! I'm not saying she needed to be provoking the bad guys, but she was no shrinking violet! Lisa could have been a government agent herself in another life! LOL!
And speaking of ole girl, Destiny must have fallen and bumped her head at that gala talking about she still loved Langston. Girl, what?!🙄 Umm, ma'am, you didn't do right when you had him! That fine behind Langston Clark and you up there slippin' and slidin' on some other d__, aht, umm sorry!🤭 The way Langston had Lisa screaming in between the sheets, I don't know what Destiny was thinking! I know she was trippin'! Welp! At least Langston was able to get his "closure" and gather her all the way together in one shot! But the girl was still stuck on stupid for a min--until Lisa gave her that two-piece and a biscuit! Whew, chile! 👊🏾💥🤣 Loving these stories!
As for the grown and still sexy, I hope there's a novel or novella in the horizon for King Winthrop and the "Queen of the Clarks!" We know how Daddy Valentine still got it going on from reading that delicous masterpiece from In The Heart of a Valentine Series! Go ahead on and show us what the King workin' with and how Mama Cynthia get down! I know that would be sooooooo good and on fire!😂🔥🔥

Loved this read and the drama that put it all back together. Langston was broken with destiny and Lisa fixed his heart and ways he didn't think he couldn't recover from. I'm loving these brothers and ms.Cynthia. im waiting on her story soon in the making.

Listen... Lisa is my kind of people cause what you're not going to do is mess with my man. Full stop. But other than that I couldn't really get behind this story line. Cause how do we go from being in a medically induced coma to leaping up of the couch and back on a case within days of being shot? Like seriously. I'm all for creative licensing but that was just a bit farfetched for me.

This was the best book of the series. I’m so glad that I held onto the end and read it!
Langston is the brother who works for Homeland Security and is the computer expert. He’s had so much heartbreak with women that he’s no longer willing to put his heart out there. He’s also the most spiritual and artistic of the brothers.
Lisa is the third member of Genesis. She’s devoted to the group. And we learn that she is a ride or die chick, adventurous, loyal and caring.
Most of the book is about Langston and Lisa coming together and developing a loving relationship. The danger from Langston’s job is the catalyst for the danger that befalls Lisa and other family members.
Things I loved about this book:
- Langston was in therapy after his last relationship ended
- The love and comradeship the brothers had for each other
- the love that they had for their mother and the women in their lives
- The fact that their Father was truly a background character in this book cause he was a d*ck
- Finally I love kick ass women and Lisa was that always asking for a gun and using it in the dicey situations AND fighting for the brothers mother
I think this was the best written of the series and redeemed the series in my eyes.

This Book Is HOT
Stephanie Nicole Norris has done it again. Langston’s book brought all the drama, suspense, and sexiness. Langston and Lisa set my reader on fire and had me fist pumping as I read. I was feeling all types of emotions.
Langston and Lisa had a connection in the prior book. Langston is going through some things so he tries to ignore the pull he has to Lisa. At the same time, Lisa is also feeling Langston but doesn’t want to chase a man. Needless to say, the pull cannot be denied and they end of rocking each other’s world. This begins their sensual journey that only gets hotter as the book progresses.
As Langston and Lisa gets closer, sinister forces are trying to infringe on their happiness and Langston has to make peace with his past.
All I can say is that you need to read this book. The sexual sound effects were mind blowing. I had to re-read them slowly to savor them in my mind. Chile, Langston was so nasty and Lisa answered the call. They were a sensual match.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND AWESOME
This is absolutely magnificent it's emotional with sizzling hot passion and you will be on the edge of your seat plus if you have read the other stories I want you to know this just as amazing. The characters will have you turning page after page it's so entertaining with lots of excitement. I have read all of the installments twice and each time it was just as captivating with excitement as I read it the first time. Believe me there are not enough words for me to describe how much I have really enjoyed reading this series. This series has had me talking to my reader shouting( You go Girl!) hahaha I don't want to spoil it for you but actually I don't think that it's possible to spoil anything about this series! it's so emotional with lots of suspense. As I said before this is one of the best and since I have to stay at home anyway I have fell in love all over again with my reader! So I want you to grab this absolutely. captivating series. Langston and Lisa..... Oh my God where do I start, the first time they had sex and he said Bite Me I was like oh my gosh it was on and popping.... The Blacklist ... Great Day In The Morning I was so hott reading I thought that I was going to have to get in the shower😄 When he let her know he was a artist I was in tears when he painted her and told her to take it home I was mush... Now the threat when it came I was like ooh what now how it's gonna happen but my favorite is when Langston told Destiny off in front of everyone and she hollered out I Love You I was yea give it to her in front or everybody so they will know that you are no good. You got me with the kidnapping I thought it was going to be Lisa, not Cynthia and Destiny and then my boo got shot I was like ooh noooooo but it came together in the end .I loved how the guys sent their mom to be safe with the King cause nobody is going to mess with the Queen of the Clarks 😀😀

These governmental officials who are also brothers and extremely fine have all now found ladies of their hearts to share their lives! Since this is mainly Langston and Lisa's story, the bad guys focused on him, his love interest, his mom and the ex he is finally over! Now you know these men are not going down like that and so they don't!!! I knew from the last story that King Isaac from Kera Asnela was trying to hook up with Mama Clark and so we see that was not just in my head it was in the plot😍😀😁😇! I love how these important Chicago Black families interface with each other and in fact one of the Rose triplets is married to one of those finer than wine Clark brothers!!!! I enjoyed this latest Clarks of Northshire Bend story!

Langston!
I like this story by far, it was truly sex and the sex scenes smoking hot!! I thought Malik was sexy, but Langston Charisma is by far the sexiest . However I do have problems with this book since it’s the Third book. Something’s didn’t make since. 3 bandmates hook up with 3 brothers. Malik & Tina book one they get married family and friends a plenty. Book 2 Tristian & Chelsea dance contest, family and friends again. Mayor’ ball, Governor Gala, Chic Gala Langston mother has met up with each woman numerous times. So how in the heck are you gonna meet someone you already met???? However there is a situation that brings mother closer to Lisa than all the rest of the women. This story had me hooked from start to finishing.

troubled hearts rescue
Langston was keeping a secret. His heart break was keeping him in bondage. He refused to talk about it and barely acknowledged it. It was a deep wound that wasn’t healing. He didn’t trust himself to with making decisions on love and relationships. But Lisa has peeked his interest.
Lisa has her eyes on Langston. She’s down for whatever wherever whenever when it comes to him! This does her well with him and their chemistry is undeniable.
As with all of the Clark brothers with their high profiles and security clearance, there are enemies who will stop at nothing to get their access and this time it’s Langston who is the ultimate target.

oh My Gah!!!

Lisa was my favorite of all the damsels! OMG this book was very well written I have followed the entire series from the Rose family to the valentine family, part of the royals and now the Clark’s. When I tell you that I prayed that she wouldn’t be like the other ladies and leave him after her brush with death and kidnapping and I thank you Ms Norris for coming through with the come through🥰

On my goodness the chemistry between Langston and Lisa burned through the pages! You could feel it!
Lance's vulnerability had me rooting for him from the very start! The brotherhood of the Clark men had me in my feelings!
Lisa was loving, spunky, determined, and simply a Queen in her own right!

I thought I could never have a favorite Clark brother because they were all hero material. After reading DYING WITHOUT YOU, I have come to the conclusion that Langston is “THE MAN”. After being betrayed by his girlfriend, Destiny, Langston had to seek therapy. That’s a plus in my book! Then there was Lisa! Wow! What a h o t couple! Lisa was that girl for Langston! WYKYK! The suspense, drama, intrigue and that Stephanie Nicole Norris coated the storyline with was action-packed!
Why Langston? I love a praying hero! You’ll get that when you read the story. I love these Clark men. Their stories are the Bomb, but my favorite is Langston. I highly suggest that you grab a copy of each book, Malik, Tristan and Langston and decide for yourself. You can thank me later!
Why Langston? I love a praying hero! You’ll get that when you read the story. I love these Clark men. Their stories are the Bomb, but my favorite is Langston. I highly suggest that you grab a copy of each book, Malik, Tristan and Langston and decide for yourself. You can thank me later!

great series
I read all the books within a few days. I have read books from Stephanie before and have loved them. I love the fact that the stories that are series cross over one another. I love the drama and suspense. The love scenes were a little discombobulated for some of them and the wording, Pop! Pop! Pop! used to describe the sounds of skin against skin was very aggravating and somewhat unrealistic to me 🤷🏾♀️. Other then that they were great reads.

It Was Okay…
I’m glad that Langston found love and dealt with his heartache. Lisa was perfect for him. I liked their spontaneity. I gave it 3 stars because it was way too much fluff language in this book. I felt like 20 extra pages were added onto the book just from the elaborate descriptions of places, emotions, etc. It was unnecessarily too much. Other than that, I did like the story line.

Loving it! Dying Without You
A great read, I could not put it down. I have enjoyed Langston and Lisa's journey. Langston is so complex, artistic and deep. Lisa was easily relatable, I felt like she could be one of my friends. I'm thrilled how Ms. Norris continues to expose and reveal the characters in each book and continues the updates on characters from the other books in the series. Looking forward to the next one. Lisa and Langston = Power Couple
This story was delightful. It contained juicy lust filled scenes. Langston was doubtful of the advise he received thinking surely that it would not help with his insomnia. Well, he got his sleep and more by way of Lisa. Lisa proved to be more than just a beautiful voice too. She got hands and isn't afraid to use them.🤭 Loved how this couple supported each other before love was declared.

AMAZING!! Stephanie has done it AGAIN
This book took you to new heights with the heartbreak, friendship, loving, suspense, and vulnerability of this couple. As private as Langston is, to allow him to open up at that place at that time was truly heartfelt. I really appreciate how you made Lisa just as kickass as him! I LOVED THIS BOOK. I cant wait for King Issac Winthrope & Cynthia “Queen of the Clark’s” Clark wedding Novella. I’m SOOOO EXCITED!

Great great great read
Stephanie Nicole Norris you have done it again. Loved reading the story of Langston and Lisa's journey into happily ever after. This book like the others were a paged turner and I couldn't stop reading it until I had finished the book. Who next, the King and Queen of the Clarks? Or, is Dalila getting her own story with Malik comedian friend from the CIA? Either way, can't wait🤗😁👍🏾

Wow
This book is filled with all the ups and downs you can think of. I kept speculating on what was going to happen next and I was never correct. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. With every book that SNN writes I always say "this is my new book boyfried". Well I'm saying it again Langston is my new book boyfriend. I loved Lisa and her ride and die persona. She is definitely someone you want on your side

I love the Clarks
I truly love these prominent Black families that Stephanie writes about. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I loved reading about them and I couldn't wait until this book was released. I am really hoping that there is going to be more about them, I am not ready for their stories to be done yet. I will admit that I don't usually read romantic suspense, but this series has me rethinking that decision. I again definitely want to read more about these brothers!!!!!

Like not Loved
This one was just ok for me. I love the family and glad to see Langston & Lisa together but some things felt rushed and not fully clarified. Like Destiny and her boo. If your gonna bring it up or touch on it give us more detail. Is my preferences. But because I love this author and the Clark's romance(s). I will continue to read. Bring on Moma Cynthia's story next "Queen of the Clark's". 👸🏽

The Reward of Heartbreak
It’s been said that one can, “ love to well, but not wisely.” What we think is loves often one sided infatuation, and it’s in that infatuation that we find ourselves working to give and be all to someone who values nothing. I am so happy for Langston and overjoyed for Lisa finding a love that could only be God ordained. Also, I am so happy for the Queen of the Clark’s in finding the reward for her tears.
