A breathtaking collection, with strong English translations side by side. This concise book is a wonderful introduction to my favorite Urdu poets for the English readers. Layers upon layers of meaning in this beautiful and simple poetry.

Amazing collection of brilliant poetry! The Twelfth Man (Baarvhan Khilari) is a magnificent poem, and also ended up becoming my most favorite in the collection, along with Ek Nabeena Basti Ke Naam and Sitambar ki Yaad Mein.
