While I'm not a huge fan of non-fiction being written in story format, I do enjoy reading books like these. :-)

"Rescue of the Stranded Whales" - written by Kenneth Mallory and published in 1989 by Silver Burdett Press. An interesting middle-grade story of a group of pilot whales stranded near Cape Cod.
