America is powerless, in more ways than one!

After an EMP strike turned off the power in America, unscrupulous Homeland Security had banded with the Russians to overcome insurgents still resisting against the conquering armies of Russians and American turncoats. The Russian incursion was centered around a base in Florida. Charlie, Mike, John and Cyn were part of the American Resistance, fighting back against the overwhelming force in the area. Odds were not great, but they still fought on, trying to organize their band of partisans into an army and push the Russians into the sea!

Great characters, great storyline, excellent storytelling! Great read!

Contagion the 5th book in the Charlie's Requiem series. It continues the story of Charlie and her friends as they fight back against the Government that caused the EMP, DHS and the Russians. The Russians have introduced a bioweapon by infecting mosquitos with a super strain of malaria that kills up to 50% of those infected. I really enjoy these books about survival against the odds. Strong characters and terrible bad guys.

One more great book in an awesome series!

Love the series! Characters are built so you feel attached to them. Love how I’m seeing Going Home series characters in this storyline also. We’ve shared the whole Going Home series line of books with about a half dozen friends and family. Have read all of this series online. We still talk about it to others though! Keep going guys! If you need a proofreader to edit overlooked misspelling, I’m your girl!

After binging on Angery American's Home series, not being able to put them down, I was looking forward to continuing the captivating plot line. What a disappointment this series was! I Don't know if Walt Browning brought all the woke, but it was evident. But even without the woke BS, the books were just boring as hell. Too much blabbering and not enough action. Hopefully Angery returns to solo, continues the Home series, and drops this boondoggle.
