I haven’t read many books that I’ve struggled to push through but I’m glad I did with this. I found the chapters to be quite far apart and some of the sections feel like they are over explaining for a page or two but it was an interesting read. I was surprised this book is over 50+ years old as it didn’t feel that dated, the descriptions of the planet of Solaris were captivating and the story had me intrigued to what was going to happen next. Reading through this book Stanislaw Lem shows their philosophical questions through out this book which made me have to have a break a points to think. It’s probably not a book I would be recommending people to read but if you are interested in it, it’s worth while.

An absolutely amazing book. I compere it to world's best reads like 1984, Brave new world, Master and Margarita etc. It's more of a scientific sci- fi but definitely one of it's kind and best book by Stanislav Lem. A must read!
