I loved this series so much that I didn’t want to finish it too fast! My first RH fantasy book and I adored each book in the series. It’s safe to say that AJ Moran has made it into my favorite authors list.
An okay series overall. Enjoyable characters. Bellamy is my fave but that’s expected. He’s definitely comedic relief throughout the book. I’m okay with this being a spinoff but the author needed to explain the world a little bit more for readers who started reading in this series. If not, the blurb or the beginning of the book need to say that it’s better to read the previous series to better understand the world.
I don’t know if Rei potentially building with the other guys was necessary, but forever is a long time. Love and unity to defeat gods? I don’t buy it. Brook’s harem met Sam’s harem already, so I don’t know why the author had a scene in this book like they’d just met for the first time.
Gambling With Time is the third book in Orion’s Daughter series by A.J. Moran.
💜 demon hunter FMC 💜 a Demi-god, a god, a demon prince, and a dragon shifter 💜 memory loss 💜 a prophecy 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice
We pick right up where book two left off. Samantha finds herself in chains. The one who calls himself the true demon prince wants her to marry him, but that’s ridiculous because she’s a hunter and they don’t marry demons. She knows she has to get loose. But then the one who calls himself Alastor comes into the room to bring her food. Can she trust him? Is he telling her the truth? If so, does that mean her memories are gone, and can she get them back?
This third book was a great way to bring together the ending of this trilogy. I loved how the group found each other throughout the series. I also loved that this is part of a shared world with other trilogies written by A.J. Moran. I hope we get to see more spin off stories within this same world.
Ms A has really outdone herself with this series. I really enjoyed it. I read each book back to back and only endured the cliffhangers because the whole series was available. I fell in love with the characters, particularly Samantha as I have a soft spot for bad ass female characters. This book was beautifully written, just like the two books in the series that came before it. I’ll definitely be looking for more books by A.J. Moran.
This is the final story in Sam’s journey and it is truly amazing. At the end of book two we see some forgetfulness but never fear our coward finds a way to save the day. This story made me through my kindle several times but thankfully it’s still in one piece. Sam is such an amazing women and her men are pretty awesome as well. This story has some epic battles and the spice is off the charts.
I deducted one star because the story line was that good I got mad everytime a spicy scene cut into the plot. I looooove spice but this story line was really interesting. And deducted another star because “the power of love”. Broooooo the story was sooooo good! We have gods demons demigods a dragon and a hunter and friendship jutsu wins the war 🫠
I loved the groups journey, the ups and the downs. It showed how much they grew from the beginning and proved to each other they could do anything together. Great ending!
It was the HEA we've all been waiting for. There wasn't so much conflict or biting nails situations, it was more build into that closure. Never the less it was sweet, sexy and very pleasant read.
