I was watching an old Western at my mother-in-law's and looked up the author of the story, 'Roughshod', that the movie was based on. Our little library only had this one book by the author, 'Rawhide Years'- hope to find another soon! Having lived at both sides of the Missouri and a love of historical novels, this story drew me in quick. And that the main character had character, discipline, morals & guts made it a 5 star story!
