In Christopher, Please Clean Up Your Room , Itah Sadu tells the story of little Christopher, a young boy whose room is disgustingly dirty but he refuses to clean it up. His parents try everything but Christopher insists that he likes it that way. Finally, the goldfish conspire with a cockroach who was passing through and they devise a plan to scare Christopher into cleaning his room.

This book is hilarious. Christopher's family is the perfect amount of dramatic. His mom refused to go in to his room because she thought there could be snakes in there and his grandmother full-on fainted when she visited. I also burst out laughing when the fish got involved. Itah wrote, "Now, the two goldfish who lived in that fish bowl were becoming quite concerned about their health."

The story line is so relatable. I know so many children who have used the line "I like it this way" when asked to clean their room.

Christopher, Please Clean Up Your Room is a fun, well-written and colourfully illustrated cautionary tale about what could happen if you don't clean up your room.

Cockroach phobia not withstanding, I still loved this book. Christopher won't clean his room for anybody or anything, that is, until the goldfish enlist the help of Mr. Cockroach. Cute!

This is the story of Christopher who refuses to clean up his room. Everyone is concerned about it, because his room is absolutely foul. His parents have tried everything to make him clean his room. The goldfish in his room are the most worried, as they will soon perish if their bowl is not cleaned out soon. The goldfish recruit their cockroach friends and Christopher is compelled to clean up his room. This book is hilarious. The room is so disgusting the roaches have to wear gas masks. My daughter and I really enjoyed reading this book. We just laughed our way right through it. The illustrations are just great.

Christopher is a boy who does not want to clean his room. Everything looks untidy, messy, and disgusting. He has two little gold fish in a green and murky tank. The fish decide to ask for help to a cockroach. The cockroach, with the help from many other type of cockroaches, help scare Christopher and make him change his mind. Finally Christopher gets afraid of the amount of cockroaches in his room that he decides to clean his room and not let it get dirty again.
