24-Hour Quilts

Rate this book
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a comfy, cozy quilt in no time at all? With these time-saving techniques, even a quilter with very limited experience can enjoy fast, gorgeous results. There’s something here for all seasons and all reasons. Imagine one with yellow stars that seem to float in and out among ribbons of green and burgundy. It’s made entirely with squares and half-square triangles that are easy to cut and piece, making it especially simple to create. Or, try a heavenly quilt fashioned from angel novelty prints surrounded by coordinating fabric; it’s so pretty it will enhance any room. There’s more, too, including a Christmas quilt, a patriotic quilt, and a quilt for music lovers, all with easy-to-follow diagrams and instructions.

Interesting and fairly unique designs. Especially given that the book is about quilts taking less than 24 hours to sew, I was expecting that the author would just keep repeating the same trick for each quilt, but each quilt was interesting. The author's color sense is poor when using patterned fabric, but those quilt patterns could definitely make a prettier quilt if the maker has a better sense of color.
