I don’t have a review but as this entry is missing a description, here’s what the back cover says:

How Would You Like To:
JOIN AN EXPEDITION TO THE MOON TO HUNT FOR GOLD?
PILOT AN X-15 ROCKET SHIP MILES ABOVE THE EARTH?
MAN THE CONTROLS OF A SPACE SHIP ON COLLISION COURSE WITH A METEOR?
TEACH BASEBALL TO THE WEIRD DINOSAUR-BOYS OF A DISTANT STAR?

These are some of the fantastic adventures that await you in this science-fiction collection of stories about boys and girls who live in the world of the future. Editor A. L. Furman has gathered eight imaginative and absorbing stories which will project you into the age of interstellar travel. You will experience the excitement and the hazards of exploring the universe and meeting the inhabitants of other worlds.

Now that the space age has actually begun, you will be spellbound by these thrilling dramas of a future way of life.

I honestly don't remember much about it other than I read it. I don't believe there were any famous names in it.

I don't remember where I bought this paperback, but in small print on the front cover, it says, "Original Title: Teen-Age Outer Space Stories." That sounds right up my alley, but it turned out that half of these stories were originally published in Boys' Life magazine, and it shows. All of them were first published in the '50s. The typical story involves a boy having life-changing adventures while his sister worries about him and his mother is busy "making supper."

This book made me glad that I live in a time when girls and women get to do more than worry and cook.
