An astonishing book on antisemitism and thorough psychoanalysis of its perpetrators by a man with a brilliant and wild imagination, along with a remarkable sense of history and culture. His imagery and metaphors are dazzling, and his harsh critique of the cowardice of fellow Hollywoodians remains as relevant as ever. His utter condemnation of Germanness and all things German perhaps less so but fascinating nonetheless.

This social commentary reads like a stream of consciousness, but coherent, compelling, provocative, original, insightful, funny, and often bewildering.

Written with a cutlass, the pulls no punches and spares no holds. Hecht unmasks the antisemite's true nature, ruthlessly dissects their hypocrisies, twisted pysche and moral rot. Beware Anti-Semites - Hecht is coming to shecht!
