FINALLY!

If you have been reading this series from the beginning you will recognize Amos and Naomi as two important people in The Wilder Retreat and Winery, Naomi is the Innkeeper and Amos takes care of the Grapes for the Wine they produce. They have had an on-and-off relationship for years, and after their last breakup, it wasn't looking good for them. But as they are an intricate part of the Wilders Resort you know the brothers and their wives will play an important part in this story. There is also a bit of Suspense surrounding Naomi, and someone from Amos' past visits the Retreat and Winery which causes more problems for him.

I hate to say it, but I was kinda bored reading this one. I felt bad for Naomi, seemed like Amos wanted her, but not enough. That was hard to face for her. Her decision to give it all up, made sense, as did how she explained things to Amos. Not sure how I feel about the change, it sort of feels like Amos only made the change when he saw Naomi being threatened. That if that hadn't happened he would have let her go.

These two have been in the background of all the Wilder books and now they finally get their own forever. It was a bumpy road with lots of ups and downs but in the end love wins. Sweet and spicy!!
Some suspenseful moments that have the Wilders on their toes.

Many of us have wondered about the true story of Amos and Naomi since the beginning of the Wilder Brothers series began and Carrie Ann Ryan Finally gives us their fraught and tragic love story as they come together, fall apart, and then finally win their HEA. I was truly rooting for Amos and Naomi to get their HEA, but I hated the way that Amos kept breaking Naomi’s heart and leaving her hurting even though her love for him never waned. Amos is the kind of protective male that has never really embraced his emotions and learned to express his emotions in anything more than the physical way. While he obviously cares deeply for Naomi, he fears that he will hold her back and he wants her to be able to achieve all of her goals in life without getting in her way. Naomi wants badly to succeed in her career, but losing the man she loves is not part of her plan to get there, but she can’t be around him day-in and day-out without being with him. Only when he is truly forced to accept the possibility of Naomi no longer being in his life, does Amos come to understand what truly losing her will mean to him and he steps up to show her that he can change. The love between these two is strong and passionate and that push-pull is heart wrenching until they finally find their way to peace. I loved getting to know Naomi more, seeing her growing and pushing for what she wants and deserves from life and demanding her due. Amos is a typical dude that needs some sense slapped into him and thankfully the Wilders are there to provide that for him. It was great to see all our favorite Wilders woven through this story and I loved the wedding scenes for sure. I am dying to see more of Amos and Naomi in future stories in the series now that they have found their HEA and gotten their relationship figured out. Carrie always manages to give her readers that bit of closure that we need as we become invested in the characters in her series and this Naomi/Amos novella is a perfect example, Carrie on!

This quick book was a great way to get Naomi and Amos's story. Both character's have been supporting characters throughout this series but their history was briefly touched upon in the last book of this series.

Naomi is the inn keeper for the Wilder resort. She has left her abusive family that continues to call and demean her for her choice in leaving while also trying to make her feel guilty about her choice to leave and not care for her father. She is feeling stuck in her career - a career that she loves with the Wilders. She also has had an on again off again relationship with Amos - a man that she feels as if she loves but doesn't know where she stands with him and doesn't feel that she can be around due to her heartache with him.

Amos is one of the wine makers for the winery of the resort. He wasn't looking for a relationship after his failed marriage but just can't stay away from Naomi. He feels protective of her and attracted to her while only wanting what is best for her and not seeing that he is what she needs in her life.

In typical Ms Ryan fashion there is a sense of danger as Naomi gets attacked and Amos steps up vowing to protect her. In fact, I think all of her characters no matter the series are doomed for danger whether they are looking for it or not - it simply finds them. The chemistry between the characters was off the charts and explosive. The story moved along well despite there being a few characters that did not need to be involved - the repeated calls from her family while she self depreciated herself for her decisions and the appearance of Amo's ex-wife and new family only driving home his feelings of established inadequacy about his failed marriage.

Overall this quick story was a good book. It filled in some of the blanks about the supporting characters of the series and was a nice break from the main characters from the series.

Naomi has been the innkeeper at Wilder Resorts since before it was a Wilder property. Amos has been one of the winemakers for an equally long time. No one knows Wilder Resorts without them, however the push and pull in their relationship may cause one of them to have to leave the estate. He is protective but also not sure he wants a full time relationship. Their on and off relationship has caused drama on the property and I was so thankful to finally see them front and center in their own story.

The back and forth between them kept things moving, as well as the relatively short page length. I always wish novellas could be longer because I love to fall into the worlds, but I will also say that this was a good length to tell Naomi and Amos’s story without adding in a lot of unnecessary drama.

Part Naomi and Amos’s story, part Wilder wedding prep, this was a perfect slice of Wilder life. It’s finally time for the Wilder’s to put together their own weddings. They’ve planned enough weddings for other people that they know what they want when it comes to their own, and the biggest piece is family. I loved this little glimpse into the planning side of things and the found family that Naomi and Amos surround themselves with. They may not be Wilders by name, but they are Wilders by heart.

**Audiobook Review**

I’m so happy that we finally get Naomi and Amos’ story! “A Wilder Wedding” is a steamy, heartfelt and perfect novella set in the Wilder world.

Ever since meeting at the Wilder Brothers Retreat, Naomi has always been attracted to the closed off and slightly grumpy Amos. She’s always felt this pull to him and when he makes a move one night during a client wedding, she’s shocked but happy. Amos has had a tough past when it comes to relationships and has always been clear that he won’t be in another one again. For years, the two have been hot and cold, and Naomi has had enough. But after a scare on her well being, Amos finally realizes he can’t be without her and has to work on gaining her trust again.

These two deserved their happy ever after and I’m so glad they finally got it. The back and forth could only work for a while and I’m glad they finally figured it out. Naomi has a big heart and put her all into being the innkeeper. Her family dynamics were so relatable and I’m glad she was able to break free of them. Amos is a classic grump who would hide behind his past and not want anything for the future. I loved that he was manager of the vineyard and he was passionate about his career. The added suspense of who was going after Naomi added some action to the story and made Amos realize that life is too short and to go after the girl for real. We get updates from the rest of the characters and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Lucy Rivers and Lance Greenfield were so great as Naomi and Amos. Lucy brought all of Naomi’s feelings to life perfectly and I loved how passionate she was. Lance was the perfect choice to be the grumpy, yet caring Amos. I loved his narration and how he portrayed Amos.

Welcome back to Texas and the Wilders. There’s a wedding coming up…but then again—there are always weddings, since the Wilder Retreat is a wedding venue.

But this is a special wedding…it’s a Wilder wedding. But the main scope of the story—is that Naomi & Amos finally get their time in the spotlight.

Naomi & Amos have been around the Wilders since the beginning…they were actually employees that decided to stay on when the Wilders bought the winery/resort from the previous owner.

Throughout the books—they’ve had an on/off relationship…but it all comes full circle in A Wilder Wedding.

I loved seeing Naomi & Amos get their time in the spotlight…and Amos did need to have a little sense knocked into him by the Wilders.

If you’ve been keeping up with the Wilders—you know who’s getting married…and if you haven’t…well you should probably grab the last book (or two) to catch up with everything that’s been happening around the Wilders.

It wouldn’t be a Wilder book if there wasn’t just a little bit of mayhem…because they seem to attract it like honey.

What mayhem? Well—it’s a little bit of family drama (possibly not the Wilders), and just a little bit of drama in general.

I give A Wilder Wedding five out of five stars. I love this series, and am glad that there were the cousins to bring in to keep it going for a while longer. I’m looking forward to Wyatt’s story later in the year.

The best thing about A Wilder Wedding—you technically don’t need to have read the rest of the books in the series…this is a perfect ‘introduction’ to the loud and loving Wilder family.

This review is for the audio version of this book. I loved the narration of this book. The narrators gave this story flavour, nuance and emotion, bringing it to life and making it captivating, just as the author intended. As for the story itself, it is one of self-reflection and trying to change a situation that has become messy and emotionally exhausting. Naomi and Amos have been lovers for years though she carried a torch for him long before they first kissed. Their relationship has become stuck in an on then off again cycle and Naomi is finally ready for it to done. It is not because she doesn’t love Amos, rather it is due to loving him so much that it hurts when he can’t or won’t say the words to her and he keeps pushing her away. He claims she is too young and that he doesn’t want to hold her back, but she is thirty now and quite capable of making her own decisions about what is best for her. Everyone at the Wilder Winery and Inn can see these two love each other and are currently in pain. They also know the break up was Amos’s doing and try to prod him into fixing it. Amos is stubborn, stuck on past mistakes and doesn’t have a clue how to fix things with Naomi or even if he should. When an incident forces him to see that he could lose any chance of being with her forever, Amos is ready to take a chance and finally say the words Naomi has been waiting for and show her he is all in, no more pushing her away. Unfortunately, he may already be too late. He and Naomi do, however, have a found family, the Wilders, who offer them advice, encouragement and support.

I wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic book.

My review is written after listening to the audio version of this book which was beautifully narrated by Lucy Rivers and Lance Greenfield

This story centres on Amos and Naomi who worked at the Retreat before it was bought by the Wilder brothers. Naomi is the Inn Keeper and Amos tends the Vines. They are both considered family by all of the Wilders, who were happy when the two of them became an item. But recently Amos broke things off with Naomi and now neither of them is happy and their unhappiness is starting to affect their work.

Naomi's father and her brothers are selfish horrid people who don't respect her and feel she should just stay home to look after her drunken father. So it's not surprising that Naomi considers the Wilders her real family and The Wilder Retreat her only home.

Amos was married before but to the wrong woman, he loved his ex-wife but refused to give up his job at The Retreat and move to New York on a whim to be with her. She blamed him for trying to hold her back and so they divorced. Now he's allowing his fears of Naomi doing the same to ruin what they could have together.

A Wilder Wedding tell what happened and why, and takes us on an emotional and heart-wrenching rollercoaster ride. Naomi's distress and decision-making process moved me as did Amos' inability to vocalize his feelings and tell Naomi he loved her. At times I wanted to shake some sense into him but fortunately, he overcame his fears and things worked out beautifully.

Together At Last!!!

Amos and Noami whom we've met from the beginning of the series in ( ONE WAY BACK TO YOU ) have been in an on and off relationship for many years. They love each other yet they always find themselves at odds from one reason to another.

Now they both had an important decision to make, one that could change their lives forever. And if they didn't seize the chance that was given to them right now, they might regret it someday. Sure they both had to face their pasts in order to move forward. Which they did but danger was lurking around Naomi.

The evildoer was someone unexpected and in the end he got what was coming to him. I loved how all the Wilder women and men were rooting for this couple to finally get their act together. The Wilder extended family keeps growing stronger and better. It was a wonderful treat to see those two stubborn characters finally get their HEA.

Yeah Ridge and Aurora tied the knot (happy dance)... I can’t get enough of this series. Looking forward to what comes next!

A WILDER WEDDING is a novella in Carrie Ann Ryan's the  WILDER BROTHERS  series. It was fast-paced, beautiful and a fun read. Brilliant job by the author...She had me hooked from start to finish. I recommend you guys to give this book/series a try.

I love angsty, emotional romances where we start almost midway through the couples story. In this one Amos and Naomi have been coworkers for a while now, they started at the Wilder Resort before it was even owned by the Wilder family and had chemistry and attraction that neither could deny. However, Amos, having been burned before, is reticent about formalizing their relationship or taking it further than it's gone, refusing to admit to deep feelings and long term commitment. Because of this they've been off and on, and Naomi has had enough and needs to either have more from Amos or will need to move on, finding a new place to be where she won't be in daily contact with Amos. Complicating the situation is that Naomi seems to now be the target of someone out to harm her. I love stories where they have already been together and especially ones that are angsty where the heroine is unsure of the hero's feelings for her. I'm not fond though of misunderstandings or when it takes the hero too long to come around. I loved getting to see the characters from previous books, and upcoming ones, as well as the wedding! Definitely recommend this one - it's a quick read that encompasses many things in on - angsty, fun, romantic, steamy and suspenseful!

I went back and forth on this between the ebook and the narration - really enjoyed listening to it - makes the story really come to life and upped the angst factor quite a bit!

I recently delved into A Wilder Wedding, and I must say, it was a delightful addition to the Wilder Brothers series. As someone who has followed the series closely, this book was a treat that lived up to my expectations.

The romance between Declan Wilder and Avery Meadows was a highlight for me. Their playful banter and undeniable chemistry kept me engaged throughout the story. Declan's protective nature and Avery's charm made them a couple worth rooting for.

The wedding planning backdrop added a fun and romantic element to the narrative, creating a warm and inviting setting for the characters to shine. Reconnecting with familiar faces from previous books in the series was like catching up with old friends, adding depth to the story.

While the plot may have been somewhat predictable at times, the overall feel-good vibe and well-crafted characters made up for it. Carrie Ann Ryan's writing style shines through, making this a quick and enjoyable read.

For fans of contemporary romance, small-town settings, and the Wilder Brothers series, A Wilder Wedding is a must-read. I give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars, and I highly recommend it for a heartwarming and engaging escape into the Wilder world.

Indulge in the heartwarming story of "A Wilder Wedding," a delightful bonus novella nestled within the enchanting universe of the Wilder Brothers series crafted by the talented Carrie Ann Ryan. Within these pages, length has no meaning, for Ms Ryan seamlessly weaves a tapestry of passion, tenderness, and gripping emotion, akin to her full-length stories.

Embark on a journey alongside Naomi and Amos, a couple that worked together long before the Wilder brothers owned the business. Their tale is one of perseverance, as Amos, ever the stubborn soul, must navigate the labyrinth of his own doubts and fears before fully grasping their long-awaited happily-ever-after. But fear not, for amidst the trials and tribulations, love reigns supreme, guiding them to their destined union.

So recline into the depths of this emotional yet sizzlingly hot story and be prepared to be swept away by a whirlwind of emotions, perhaps even shedding a tear or two along the way. For in "A Wilder Wedding," Carrie Ann Ryan once again proves her mastery in capturing the essence of romance, ensuring a journey filled with heat and bliss until the very last page.

I really enjoyed this quick read from Carrie Ann Ryan. The Wilder family and their retreat/winery have been a great addition to the Montgomery Ink collection of books. While the Wilder’s are only related to the Montgomery family by marriage, they still have that loving found family thing going on with their friends. The friends in A Wilder Wedding both work for the Wilder Retreat and Winery. They have been a part of the stories from the beginning. If you haven’t read the other Wilder books you could probably read this as a standalone, but the other characters are referenced and interacted with in this book so I recommend reading the whole series for the full effect.

Amos and Naomi have had a will they won’t they relationship from the very first Wilder book. It was time for them to finally get it together and find their HEA. Much like the rest of the Wilder stories there were a couple of spicy moments that were great. There was also some angst in the form of an attacker on Naomi. Seems all of the Wilder families need a little blood shed or injury lol.
Overall a great quick read that was just what we needed in between full length books.

This was a short and quick read, but a lot happened in those chapters. I loved the beginning of the book where we get to see a lot more about these two, Naomi and Amos, and what has happened between them prior to present day and you can see how they definitely run hot and cold with each other but they both have issues from their past that impacts their on and off again relationship as well. They are truly the backbone to the retreat and winery and have been for years and I loved when that was mentioned in the book. Unfortunately, her family treats her horribly and his ex is a piece of work as well, no wonder the two have their own issues to deal with. I was truly shocked when we found out who was behind what was happening with Naomi. It was also hard when we find out what she wanted to talk about when the incident happened. When Amos finds out, it’s a wake-up call that he needs to be honest with Naomi and share his true feelings. The last couple of chapters was everything these two needed to say to each other and I genuinely loved how this book ended. Looking forward to Wyatt and Ava’s story.

Naomi and Amo’s book is the book that I never knew I needed, but of course, Carrie Ann knew we all needed this angsty book!
Naomi has always been a constant in the Wilder books. The one that holds it all together, and it is always there for everyone, but especially the Wilder ladies! I always felt that she was a little sad or lonely. And there was always tension with Amos. Amos, the grumpy older guy that works in the vineyard and cares for the grapes has also been a constant, but not spending as much time with the Wilders also intrigued me, and the way the Wilders hinted at a relationship between the pair was adorable. It was clear that Amos and Naomi were private about their relationship but until we got to dive in did we really get to see that their romance was just as perfect and hard fought as the Wilders. However, Naomi and Amos have an intense connection and clearly are perfect for one another. And oh my goodness can they light the sheets on fire, too! This might be a novella but it did not disappoint on the connection, drama, and steam! If you are looking for a quick but well written book this should be on your TBR!

Audiobook Review:

I had an opportunity to listen to an advance listener copy of A Wilder Wedding by Carrie Ann Ryan and truly enjoyed it. Narrated by Lance Greenfield and Lucy Rivers it finally gives us Naomi and Amos’ story and I was so excited for it. This is part of the Wilder Brothers series and I do suggest reading the prior books in the series. We meet Amos and Naomi throughout the previous books and know there is a history there. We see them throughout a few incidents in their past before we are brought to the present and decisions need to be made. But what will be the cost to them and the Wilder business?

The Wilders are getting ready for the next family wedding. During the planning, Amos and Naomi realize there is too much history between them. Something has to give. Then the unthinkable happens and Amos will do anything for Naomi. Amos is protective but carries the weight of his past choices with him. Naomi is caring and sweet and wants to find love. They love each other very much, but can they find their way to each other? Their journey is a bit angsty, suspenseful and heartfelt and I loved it.

Happy listening!

Naomi and Amos work for the Wilder Brother's Retreat and Winery for years. Naomi is the innkeeper, and Amos looks after the grapes. Amos and Naomi have had an on again and off again relationship over the years. Naomi loves Amos but fears Amos can't commit because of his relationship with his ex. Amos cares deeply for Naomi but doesn't want to hold her back or force her to do something she doesn't want to do. Will Naomi leave the Wilder Retreat and Amos to protect her heart? When Naomi becomes a target of a stalker, will Amos finally admit he loves Naomi and wants a future with her? Will Naomi and Amos realize they have a future together or go their separate ways? I loved A Wilder Wedding by Carrie Ann Ryan. Amos and Naomi are a great couple with great chemistry. I love how the Wilder women rally around Naomi, and the Wilder men push Amos to admit his feelings for Naomi or watch her leave Wilder Retreat. I would definitely recommend getting A Wilder Wedding and the other books in The Wilder Brothers series by Carrie Ann Ryan. I received an ARC copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I voluntarily reviewed "A WILDERS WEDDING" This was such an interesting, intriguing, captivating romance, with a little suspense, secrets, angst, steam, emotional turmoil, twists that keeps you turning the pages.
Naomi is Inn Keeper for Wilder Resort she left her very abusive family who keeps trying to call & demean her for leaving so she doesn't have to take care of her father, she loves her job with Wilders Resort, her on again off again relationship with Amos he's one of the Wine Makers for the Winery Resort he had a failed marriage & wasn't looking for anything but he's attracted to Naomi & can't stay away from her.
Naomi gets attacked & Amos does everything to protect her, their chemistry is off the charts hot, then his ex-wife appears he begins to feel bad about his failed marriage making him pull back.

“A Wilder Wedding” by Carrie Ann Ryan is a novella set in the same world as her The Wilder Brothers series, and the two main characters are Amos and Naomi.

The situation is complicated, but now that Naomi has had enough and is considering leaving the inn, Amos must prove to her that he truly loves her and wants her to stay.

Amos and Naomi have been in an on again off again relationship for years even though they’re in love, which has been difficult for them both, but for different reasons.

I was really proud of Naomi for standing up for herself and doing what was best for her, even if she thought she was broken. I actually thought Naomi was incredibly strong, and I had nothing but respect for her.

As for Amos, I wasn’t sure about him at first. He seemed to have caused Naomi a lot of pain, but I know that he had his own reasons for the decisions he made.

But in the end, Amos eventually started making the right choices, once he stopped letting fear hold him back. I thought this novella was a quick read, but it was enjoyable even with all the angst.

What a good story. Naomi and Amos have been in most of the Wilder stories, but since the story was not about them, they were mentioned more casually, except for the last book. Naomi and Amos had been off and on for several years, but neither had said those famous three works (I love you). Amos because he had been married before and didn't want to hold her back and Naomi was just scared to say them. Her family just thought she should come home and take care of their dad as she was just a woman and that was her job. No love lost there. After Naomi is attacked, Amos just about loses his mind and they sleep together again. She knows she can't handle seeing him every day if they are not together. When she is attacked again, Amos realizes what he will lose if he doesn't man up and say he loves her and make her believe it. A wonderful story

A beautiful quick read that is heartwarming but at the same time is emotional. Ms. Ryan gives us a second chance age-gap novella romance that sees Naomi and Amos finally getting their HEA but the road is not a smooth one. Having her heart broken over and over, Naomi fights with herself to forget about Amos and possibly look elsewhere for a new job. Seeing the man that she has loved for years day in and day out is just too hard to deal with. Will Amos get his head out of his a$$ and finally tell her how he feels? When there is danger at the Wilder Resort Amos finally needs to make sure that the only woman he has ever loved knows that he loves her. Their chemistry was so strong that it was impossible to ignore.
This storyline was beautifully written and had my full attention right from the start.

This is a long awaited heartwarming bonus novella within the world of the Wilder Brothers series, a huge loving family of both blood and the heart. This story focuses on Naomi and Amos, who we have gotten to know throughout the series, and needed a story of their own.

Naomi and Amos had started worked together long before the Wilder brothers owned the business, which means that the tension between these two has been building for a long time, ensuring chemistry and angst, as well as a deep abiding love.

They must navigate their own journeys of self doubt and fear, before they can recognise their own worth and the role that each other plays in their happily-ever-after.

After his last relationship Amos didn’t want to hold Naomi back so instead, he pushed her away breaking both their hearts in the process. Between the danger that Naomi found herself in and the fact that she is considering leaving the winery he has a choice to make if it isn’t too late.

After Amos ended their relationship Naomi is finding it difficult to see him every day and not be with him. She has come to the difficult decision that they can no longer work together even if that means leaving him, the family she has found and the career she loves.

With the help of the Wilders, Amos and Naomi have found the family they both deserve, and they are there to offer advice and assistance when they need it the most. The narrators were a great choice for the story as they had you feeling what the characters were feeling which allowed you to enjoy the story even more.

I really enjoyed this story! I loved finally getting Amos and Naomi story and seeing them finally get their happy ending. This one definitely fills in all the blanks and missing pieces so you can start with this one though it is book 7.5 in the series and we have seen Amos and Naomi throughout and know that they have been on/off but not really what their reasons were. We finally get to dive in to Amos and Naomi and see how they started and watch them struggle to find their way forward. I enjoyed watching them figure things out and a way for them to make it work. Someone is after Naomi and she is getting ready to make a big decision about possibly leaving since things are over with Amos and she can't go back because she still loves him but if things won't/can't change, she can't do it anymore. Amos has to figure out exactly what he is willing to lose and what is holding him back and find a way past that. This story is a novella so on the shorter side, but it works because of all the history that Amos and Naomi have together. They know each other well they just have to find a way to get over their past and over that final hurdle that has been holding them back. This story is emotional in that regard and I thought it was well done. I really enjoyed it and finally getting to see them find their happy ending.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

A short story of Amos and Naomi is all that, and more!

Amos and Naomi both work at the Wilder Resort. They are there the longest because they both worked for the previous owners. They have had an on and off relationship for years. Amos couldn’t commit because of a past marriage. Then, there is also the age gap of ten years. Although they are not Wilders, the Wilders have accepted them as their family. Amos and Naomi are in a rocky place at the moment, but can they ever make it a smooth ride forever? An enjoyable age-gap romance. It’s always a wonder to see how Carrie Ann Ryan can put a new perspective on all the love stories in a series. Although this story is a short one, it covers everything you would ever want.

I'm one of the many readers who have been following the Wilder Brothers series from the get-go, even looking forward to the beginning of it all when the lone Wilder sister found her happily-ever-after and we got glimpses of her protective brothers. I must confess, though, that it took me a minute to try and remember who Amos and Naomi were. This is one of the pitfalls of being as voracious a reader as I am. When it finally clicked, my emotional investment in the twosome grew even more. I'm glad they were able to figure things out and get they're happily-ever-after. There were moments where I was hoping for more details and information, and the suspense element felt like it came out of left field. Still, A Wilder Wedding was a nice addition to the series and gets 3.5 stars.

Dramatically delicious! Fans of Carrie Ann Ryan’s Wilder Brothers series will be thrilled to jump into this short novella that showcases employees Naomi and Amos and their connection to the venue, the family and each other as the family readies for the wedding of Ridge and Aurora. The story was short but dramatic as Naomi and Amos wrestle with how they feel about one another and when to stop nursing their pride and admit it once and for all. There’s not time for a huge amount of development in this size of book, so a good bit of their time together and the start of their turmoil is glossed over, but I liked them a lot and was happy to be along for the ride. Looking forward to more to come in the series! I highly recommend this series as a whole!
