Colorado's Finest

Rate this book
He Was All Lawman...

From his jet-black hair and broad shoulders to his sterling sense of honor, Tate Raleigh embodied the strong arm of the law in McClintock, Colorado. Since the moment they'd met, Diana Dover had felt the heat of attraction between them - but Tate remained distant with jokes and a just-friends smile. Until Diana's twin sister passed through town...and someone started shooting at Diana!

And She Was in Danger

Nothing could stand in Diana's way of exposing the truth - not even the valiant lawman who vowed to guard her at all costs. But by protecting Diana, Tate put two things at risk: his badge...and his heart.

This was a really good book. I know I'm a softie, but this book brought tears to eyes. It has been awhile since a book made me cry.

This book had an excellent plot. I thought the beginning was a bit slow. Once I got past the first chapter, I couldn't put the book down. This book had it all, suspense, action, romance, and spiritual inspiration.

You had one good twin Diana, and one bad twin
Bernie. The bad twin was running from the law when she showed up to her sister's house with a gunshot wound. Diana patched up her sister the best she could, and gave her a place to sleep. By the time Diana got home from work the next day, Bernie was gone.

Tate was the owner of the restaurant that Diana worked at. He was also a deputy working for the sheriff's office. He stopped by Diana's house to check on her. That is when Tate, and Diana found out Bernie was in more trouble than Diana ever imagined. They had to find Bernie before the guys with guns did. People were being murdered. They knew the only way they would get the answers was to find Bernie.
Diana was a strong heroine. She kept her faith no matter what was thrown her way. Tate was a good man, but was hurting from traumatic events that he has not dealt with. Diana was strong enough for the both of them. She helped heal his broken heart. This was a slow and steady romance, that started as friendship and blossomed into a forever kind of love.

This book is worth reading. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Diana Dover's sister, Bernie, shows up in a stolen car with a dead body in it. Diana hadn't seen her sister for years. In a couple of days, her sister left again with Diana's horse and other valuables. Deputy Sheriff Tate Raleigh helps to protect Diana from the mobsters who come looking for Bernie. A well-written story. Just the right mix of action and romance.

I would never have expected to like this book but it was actually quite good. I mean honestly the characters are a little strange but appealing somehow.

Very inspirational about god's gifts and that everything in life happens for a reason, even if you don't rightly know why. Also the action is intoxicating! Five stars for sure!
