Introduced to this country with his stunning work for SQP’s Gallery Girls series as well as cover paintings for Heavy Metal, Argentina’s young firebrand illustrator Tomas Giorello is really starting to heat up the fantasy art world. What better title to his own first showcase than “Inferno”? Giorello’s style is both fluid and sensual, with an attention to detail that is matched only by his sense of composition and ability to convey action. Tomas is an artist on the fast track to superstardom, and this initial gallery of illustrations contain sketches, studies, and fully finished pieces done specifically for this book.

With colored covers, the content is black and white pencils of Tomás Giorello. I found him through Dark Horse's Conan series and was intrigued with his artwork, especially of the human body/faces. Inferno is definitely not for children's eyes as SQP Publishing mainly went with topless or naked women, with a few suggestive poses. Tomás is clearly a good artist.
