El Viejo John
Old man John is Laura's and Jacob's grandfather. When he goes to live with them at the age of 75, he has a great attitude and is a lot of fun. But soon the years weigh heavily on him. What can they do with a stubborn, picky, and ill grandfather? This book deals with an issue many families are faced with.

‘Cause there’s no comfort in the waiting room
Just nervous pacers bracing for bad news
And then the nurse comes ‘round and everyone lift their heads
But I’m thinking of what Sarah said
That love is watching someone die
So who’s gonna watch you die?
So who's gonna watch you die?

Another one for the children/young adult literature class.
They way it deals with death is child appropriate, but the writing style is really not my thing. And wouldn't have been when I was the age the book is aimed at.
