I have had this book since college & it is in pieces: I can think of no better recommendations. A tour of the world of bread, both through country of origin and the type of bread.
This is a very old book that I "inherited" from my mother. It's very useful because it has a recipe for just about any kind of thing that might be considered a "bread." Pancakes, banana bread, bagels, you name it. Great reference with lots of variations on the basic recipes.
