This would be a great starting book for a member of the management team of a classic 'small business' company. I'm at a small, agile, warm'n'fuzzy tech startup, so the ideas here were either irrelevant or already part of what I picked up by osmosis from our company culture.

A required read from work. Not bad. While half the book recycles a lot of obvious leadership traits (put your team first. Find their strengths, etc.) there WAS a part I did find new and liked; the DISC personality assessments. I’m almost an even a mix of all but I personally identify with High-S quite a bit.
