This is a fast-paced historical romance between an mmc seeking revenge and an fmc who has had her heart broken and doesn't want to go through that and be in love again. The mmc is a biracial english and Arab man and I loved what that brought to the book the infusion of culture and how society treated him because of his heritage. I enjoyed the fmc and how passionate she was, I also liked how she wanted to support her family. The romance was nice with a lot of tension and some steamy scenes and I liked the main characters together. There is a third extra breakup but the mmc does grovel which was nice. Overall this is a nice and quick historical romance. Thank you Entangled Publishing for this arc.

I thought it was a good book, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I anticipated. Mainly because the romance didn’t begin until the second half. I understand that the seduction couldn’t be rushed, that the hero had to do things to earn the heroine’s trust, which allowed them to get to know each other and fall in love.

The third book in the series & its easily read on its own, a well written with well portrayed characters & a well paced story. I loved Robert & Phoebe & loved the chemistry between them & loved how they fell for each other. I would have liked Willard to have been shown his hand more & would have liked to have known what happened to him, execution, deportation? I also wanted to know more about Robert’s recovery & about why Phillip suddenly left. I thoroughly enjoyed it but did have unanswered questions

Make Mine a Marquess is an easy to read historical romance. I enjoyed the revenge plot and the writing style. This book does have cheating, and while I hated the guy she cheated on, I still feel like cheating is cheating no matter how you look at it. This did end up affecting my rating of this book. I probably would have enjoyed it more if it wasn’t a factor. However, since it was, my rating will stay at 3 stars. Otherwise, I found this book enjoyable and easy to read. I look forward to reading the second book in this series.

Sweet with the dreaded dishonesty trope but Phoebe’s passions for her charity work made this worth it! Lord Willard that snake deserved his end, and I’m glad Landon finally opened up and realized how much of a fool he was for not communicating well with Phoebe.

All in all, a sweet and cozy historical romance!

3.75 I love this authors cozy and romance books and was wondering if we would get a third in this series so I was happy to see it on NetGalley . I really like how one of the main characters in this series is half Middle eastern being half Egyptian myself, this time it is our hero. Our heroine is just lovely, I really liked that she was so passionate about the charity and her cause in general and her friendship with her cousin was really nice. Our hero, knew that he what he wanted revenge but evolved to also wanting to be part of Phoebe's life. It was nice that he took interest in her cause not just her taking interest in him. Things I didn't like, it was a little repetitive in descriptions and then Him using her as plot of his revenge. It doesn't really make sense when people (according to the book) marry in like 3 months. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is my 11th book by Tina Gabrielle. I didn't start reading her until July of 2020 and she soon became a favorite. I wrote in my notes – really like this author. Great stories, great characters and great sex. So glad to see she has a new book out. Her last series were 2 books and came out 2 years apart.

I really loved Robert and Phoebe. I loved this story and their characters and personalities. What a great story and a great couple. Sometimes I wanted to scream at Phoebe regarding Lord Willard, UGH! But such a great read and such great depth in the characters. Definitely would recommend.

Landon is a marquess returned from the dead. Phoebe is an heiress, a dutiful daughter with an ambitious mama dangling for a title, and is engaged to his cousin, the baron Warrick who had his eye on the marquessate.
Landon is out for revenge and seducing his cousin’s fiancée is part of the plan, Warrick is out for Phoebe’s dowry, and Phoebe is stuck between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand she’s determined to honour her engagement to Warrick - without love there’s no risk for heartbreak and her mother will get a title - and on the other hand Landon brings her back to life with his charm and attention - their attraction is instant and undeniable, but he’s a rogue, a recipe for disaster… isn’t he?

An interesting premise? Definitely!
But it had a few weaknesses:
* Warrick, the villain, is barely interested in his cause, giving Landon free reign to search the house and seduce his girl. Granted, he’s an arrogant narcistic pig, but still, I would have liked a bit more villainy.
* At the end of the story Landon makes a 10000 pound grand gesture to win his woman. It’s a beautiful gesture, but how does one make such a gesture when the evil cousin drained the family coffers?
* I also would have enjoyed a bit more background on Landon. There’s bits and pieces, but I missed a complete picture.
* And finally, something about the writing: on several occasions the author had me doing a double take, wondering if I had turned the page or not, with entire paragraphs repeating themselves.

This story in itself is compelling and infused with Ottoman flavour since Landon is of mixed descent. The romance between Phoebe and Landon is nicely done, with a dash of steam, and I could easily see how these two got lost in each other. The sideline romance between her cousin and his best friend is cute, and the house party setting doesn’t outshine the story.
So I would say, it was a nice read, but it had potential to be a great one.

First, this was an ARC and not my usual genre. I enjoyed the story and I liked a couple of the characters a lot. My top three likes and dislikes from the book. I will do my best to not give away too much *fingers crossed*

The storyline was great. The whole concept was fun and kept me hooked to see how it played out.
I really enjoyed Phoebe. Her character felt real and empowering.
I despised Willard and don’t think I will be the only one.

Dislikes
The setting was England 1827. The language wasn’t authentic for the time period. At least it didn’t feel that way to me.
The last fourth of the book felt rushed. Development was good in the beginning but the conclusion felt thrown together.
I longed for more backstory on Landon. Details about his upbringing were there, but who he was as a man wasn’t fully developed.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Read it in two days. First time I have read this author and I wish her the best.

Marquess Landon arrives home after he was assumed he had passed away after a whopping 5 years. In the meantime, his cousin has been running the estate and now engaged to Phoebe.

Well. In this novel Landon is out to take everything from his cousin, including his wife to be as he works to prove his cousins guilt. As he gets closer to his goal, and closer to Phoebe, their unavoidable chemistry is hot. Like molten lava level of hot.

This marvelous period romance is packed full of steam, spice and a ton of revenge. All the characters give a tremendous amount of depth. Period romance is few and far between for me in terms of reads, but this author may just have me coming back for more.

Ok real talk, why the hell does everyone shit on historical romances? Like yes, they have 'cringey' covers and predictable plots, but they're also so safe. They're so comfortable. Rarely does a bodice ripper let me down.

And this one was no exception. I started it on the plane back to college and enjoyed it so much. I mean, mutual yearning, cats, and banter?! It was so fun. I think this just may have restarted my historical romance arc... see ya soon with another shirtless man book!

I started The Daring Ladies series last year and I really enjoyed it. Each book featured a strong POC lead instead of the overwhelming sea of whiteness found in most literature. This may have been my least favorite in the collection, but it wasn't terrible. I absolutely adored the cover, despite the content. The rich magenta really makes the cover pop. It's so pretty and it's what initially drew me in from the catalog, even before I knew for which series it belonged. Make Mine a Marquess was a romance with high chemistry, although it was unfortunate that the heroine was engaged to the hero's cousin for a majority of the book. I get forbidden relationships, but how can you ignore the giant engagement ring every time you lock lips?



This book took me nearly 10 days to finish, which isn't my usual pace for my favorite subgenre. Make Mine A Marquess dragged on and it took forever for our couple to finally get together. The heroine kept hemming and hawing despite the fact that she showed more favor to her betrothed cousin than to her own fiancee. Phoebe and Landon were well suited, but their final reunion was so drawn out. I did like the hero's resilience and the heroine's bravado, yet they denied their true feelings for a large portion of the book. Minor criticism aside, I do like the author's writing style and the characterizations she creates in her books. I"m just a wee bit miffed their wedding bells didn't ring far sooner.



Make Mine a Marquess was a cute historical romance, but it didn't quite meet the bar set by its predecessors. I adore this author and hope to read more of her books in the future. Perhaps if there weren't so many barriers to true love, I would have enjoyed myself more. Thankfully, we did get some primo romance with galloping horseback rides through the forest and secret trysts in the lake on the long, long road to our happy ending. In the future if you Make Mine a Marquess, make him available!

This was a very on brand historical romance. When you read these period pieces you usually know exactly what to expect. Make Mine a Marquees did not disappoint. We meet Phoebe as she escapes her Fiancé Lord Willard in the gardens. He attempts to kiss her and although they intended to be wed, she declines because she is simply not feeling him. Enter a handsome Rogue dressed as a pirate who makes her heart race faster.

Said Rogue, turns out to be none other than Marquess Landon, the presumed dead cousin of Lord Willard, Lord Willard in the 5 years the Marquess has been missing has assumed everything but the title of Marquess and does his best to not appear distressed at his cousins sudden arrival. Marquess Landon however suspects Lord Willard of attempting to assassinate him and plans to find evidence and destroy him. Of course that involves seducing his beautiful betrothed, Phoebe.

The book was well written and a lot of fun and definitely scratched the itch only a good historical romance can.

This was my first ARC provided by the publisher, Entangled Publishing. It was also out of my normal genre I typically read.

Without spoilers, my favorite thing was definitely the setting. I adored picturing the beautiful home and the garden setting throughout the whole book. My major dislike was the repetitiveness of the first few chapters. I read most of the first few chapters in one sitting and although important, the internal dialogue of characters was reminiscing events of chapters just one before it so it felt repetitive.

I wish the author the best and I would definitely read another by them in the future!

This book took me by surprise. I love a good revenge plot, it's always angst 100% and this book didn't disappoint. A very, quick, easy and fun read.

Pros: I love the way it was written. I loved the plot and seeing the relationship blossom between Lord Landon and Miss Phoebe.

Con: He should've groveled more. The ending was a little rushed, the book could've been a little longer. I wish the epilogue was longer too.

This is a murder conspiracy-revenge story with a historical romance snugging up to it. It is book 3 of the series but can absolutely be read as a stand alone story.

After many years of being presumed to be lost and likely dead at sea, Robert Kirkian, the Marquess of Landon returns to take back the reins of his estate, and wreak revenge on his cousin, and heir, Lord Willard.

Robert was caught up in a sudden fire on the ship he was on, while at sea. He was knocked out by the falling mast, and luckily survived, finding himself adrift at sea and then landing ashore. He was traumatized, injured, and lost his memory, but through the care of the the family that found him, he recovered and regained his identity and memories, and eventually planned his revenge against the man he knows to be responsible for his plight, and the lives of others lost on that ship - his cousin. Lord Willard, the cousin and heir to Robert, is a high-living spendthrift, who took control of Robert's estate and proceeded to act as the heir presumptive, and leech funds to support his lavish lifestyle. But this was not enough for Willard, and in his greed, he contracts marriage to the highly dowered daughter of a rich coal merchant, who's wife hopes to advance themselves socially by wedding their beautiful daughter, Phoebe, to the baron, and possible future-Marquess, Willard.

Phoebe is willing to be a dutiful daughter, and marry as her parents wish. She has no delusions about romance, having been duped and having her heart broken years before. She is willing to enter a marriage of convenience, with open eyes in the hopes of forging an agreeable partnership and hopefully a shared desire for family and an agreeable marriage. However, she is in the crosshairs of Robert, as part of his revenge plans on his cousin. He beguiles Phoebe and tries to attract and lure her away from Willard, by developing a friendship with her, and sowing doubts about Willard.

Phoebe is loyal to her family and betrothal, despite her own doubts that develop as she witnesses Willards spendthrift ways and lack of care and regard for the estates, family, and herself. Despite her attraction and liking of Robert, she continues to plan to honor her betrothal, and distrusts her own desires, seeing how they have misled her in the past, and has a strong desire and instinct to protect her own heart.

Robert's plan is a double edged sword though, as he develops feelings for Phoebe, but for his plan to go through, she and her family would be ruined by their association with a murderer, or her heart will be broken as she discovers that she was used by Robert in his plan for revenge.

This story rather hinges on Phoebe being loyal to her promise to wed Willard, and being hard-hearted about a planned marriage and future, and not willing to risk romance and heart break again. But if I had difficulty in buying this as she is supposed to be clear headed about why she is entering this betrothal, but then willfully forges ahead with it, despite what she observes in Willard that would be counter to what she is hoping in her future marriage - including his disrespect of her; seeing her more as her dowry and a source of funds than anything else, his poor management of the estate, and his spendthrift ways including wagering and indulging in his selfish pleasures. Even if she did not fall for Robert, and even if she did want to deliver a title to her parent, she is seeing too many danger signs - and this includes her cousin and best friend doubting her choices, and her own parents were not blind to the flaws of the baron, and appeared to love Phoebe also, so why not consider other options (including the back-from-the-dead and more highly titled Robert????)

What I really enjoyed about the story was the ethnic touches as Robert is the son of an English lord and his Middle Eastern wife, and he embraces his culture and shares it with Phoebe. I love a bit of colour and spice mixed in with my historical romances. Also, I loved some of the secondary characters, especially including Landon's friend Aram Adian, whose family saved Landon, and Phoebe's cousin, Beatrice. They formed a secondary, background romance and I wish there was more about them as well.

He will let nothing stand in his way, including seducing his cousin's betrothed Miss Phoebe Dawson, in order to destroy his cousin and reclaim what is rightfully his.

Oh Tina Gabrielle, you had me at revenge. Revenge! REVENGE!!! Gosh, I love a revenge trope. Add in the instant sizzingly chemistry between Landon and Phoebe the moment they meet outside in the gardens at the masked ball on his estate. He was dressed as a pirate for goodness sake. Tina Gabrielle had me at insta love on that one. (*Raises hand to be plundered by even a fake costumed pirate if he is as delicious as Landon!)

As always I am drawn to a fictional man who feels he is too broken/too blinded by his need for revenge/would never be good enough for the FMC. Like buddy we know you are going to break. Just let it happen. And I also love when there is a best friend in the mix who continually along the journey, is trying to have the MMC see not only reason but that he has fallen for the FMC. Aram was such a great side character and he also sounded undeniably delicious. I would definitely stand watch with him and more...

Phoebe Dawson was a FMC I could definitely root for. Her motives and her reasons for becoming betrothed made sense for her character and her need to feel some sense of security after what she had experienced in her past at the hands of a "rogue". I appreciate how much it made her champion her cause/charity and her views on the plight of women during this period in time.

And when it all blows up (as we know it is bound to) I LOVED how Landon made up for his past actions. His actions made me teary eyed and made me love him all the more!

OOOOOOOOOOOH and I cannot wait to make Tina's Baba Ganoush Recipe that is in the back of the book. And I adored the cultural references to Landon's Lebanese, Syrian and Armenian heritage through his mother and how much it was a part of his identity. Do I need to learn how to play Tavlou now? Yes, yes I do!

I've been in a bit of a historical book slump. Historicals have been my go to romance books for years but the last few months, I couldn't get myself to pick one up. I needed a break from all the contemporary I'd been reading lately and headed to my growing list of unread ARCs. I picked up Make Mine a Marquess because I loved the first two in the series. It was just what I needed to end the slump. You know the type of book that you carry around and read while folding laundry and cleaning the kitchen. This was that book.

Phoebe Dawson is recently promised to Baron Willard with the betrothal all but announced. She is ready to marry someone plain and boring who is definitely not a scoundrel. She meets a mysterious man, dressed like a pirate, at the costume ball and is instantly smitten. The next day, she discovers her pirate is none other than Willard's cousin who was lost at sea and suspected dead for five years. The Marquess of Landon is finally back in England and ready to exact his revenge plot against his cousin who plotted his death. He wants to bankrupt him and seduce his fiancé away from him. What happens when feelings become less about the revenge plot and more about the enticing and surprising Phoebe?

I cannot gush about this enough. I absolutely loved it. The way Gabrielle weaves middle eastern culture into her stories is top notch. I saw some reviews complain that Phoebe was cheating, but I don't really see it that way. She has little to no contact the entire book. They are only "engaged" because of a verbal contract. Willard kisses her on page one time and she literally gags. I adored the side romance between Phoebe's cousin, Beatrice and Robert's best friend Amir. They were so cute. It was a total 5 star read. Thank you to Tina Gabrielle for creating something that broke my book slump!

After nearly dying in a shipwreck five years ago, Robert Kirkian, the Marquess of Landon is finally back in England and ready to wreak his vengeance on the man he believes orchestrated the fire that should have killed Robert, his could and heir, William, Baron Willard. He returns to his country estate to find his cousin hosting a house party to celebrate his recent betrothal. Robert knows William is in debt and his betrothed is rich and promises to bring a huge dowry to the marriage, but even with the promise of that fortune, it is clear that Willard has been stealing from Landon’s estate and neglecting the tenants and property. Seething, Robert vows to ruin his cousin by finding proof of his treachery and by seducing his fiancée and keeping him from getting her dowry. At least that was the plan before he met Phoebe Dawson.

Miss Phoebe Dawson trusted love once and was left with a broken heart, now she wants nothing to do with love. When Baron Willard proposed it was the perfect solution, she would wed without the danger of falling in love and her parents would benefit from having a titled daughter. Phoebe isn’t thrilled with the betrothal, but it makes her parents happy and will enable her to have a bit more freedom to pursue her charitable endeavors at the home for unwed mothers. She is resigned to her marriage, but when she meets Robert, she begins to have feelings that she thought were long dead. She falls fast and hard for him, but with the truth of his intentions becomes known, she is heartbroken once more. Will Robert see the error of his ways or will his desire for vengeance cost him his chance at happiness.

I liked the idea of this book and loved that Robert had mixed heritage that he fully embraced, but the vengeance plot was a bit over the top. Without spoilers it is hard to explain where the story fell apart for me but suffice it to say it did. I wanted to love the book, but for me it ended up being just an OK read. This is the third book in the series, but the books can all be read as stand alone titles as there is no interconnecting plot.

I love a resurrection story and the Marquess of Landon is back from the dead, having survived a shipwreck he believes was intentionally sunk by his cousin, Lord Willard. A revenge story is a great way to grab my attention and seeking revenge by trying to seduce your cousin’s betrothed? Sign me up! Landon and Phoebe have instant chemistry, but Phoebe is wary of “bad boys” having been burned once before, so she lets Landon flirt and makes him work at it. He doesn’t have to work too hard though because Willard is awful—full of himself, a dandy that’s only interested in money and has a gambling habit. Phoebe’s family has money, but no title to elevate them within the beau monde.

I loved the one on one sessions between Phoebe and Landon as they played backgammon and learned about one another. Clearly quality time is both their love language because it is what gives them the time to fall for one another. Phoebe felt that she must marry Willard to help her family’s status, but I felt like she couldn’t or wouldn’t look for ways out of her betrothal even when it seemed like she had choices. At the same time Landon is clearly falling for Phoebe, but stubbornly insists that he “isn’t good enough” for her and is only acting this way towards her for revenge. It think it just got a little repetitive and was more telling and less showing how these two could possibly work out.

I really enjoyed Phoebe’s philanthropy and loved her connection to the Unwed Mothers’ Charity. I can always get behind a heroine that stands for a cause and knows herself. I do wish Landon had had to grovel much longer and that Phoebe would’ve made him suffer just a bit more at the end. He definitely should have had to work harder for her affection and I wouldn’t have minded if she had taken longer to change her feelings (again, she’s been burned by a bad boy before so it’s no surprise she’d need more time). All in all this was a solid read and I also enjoyed the secondary love story between Beatrice and Aram. I received an early copy from Entangled Publishing. All opinions are my own.

If you like retellings, historical romances, action and of course drama you will need to add this book to your shelf. This book is kinda like a retelling of The Count of Monte Cristo, and I loved it. You will find revenge, love, action, and drama.

I have never read a book by this author, and I did not know that this was book 3 when I requested it, but I was able to read it standalone and understand everything that was happening. I thought the author did a great job with making it blend with the historical era and I loved the plot behind this. There were about 2 different plots going on, but it blended so well and by the end it was wrapped up all nicely. It was a face paced book and I loved that with every page something new was happening or unfolding and it kept me engaged throughout the book.

I thought the characters were easy to connect with and I could relate with both of the MC. With Phoebe I found her to be smart, beautiful, headstrong, and determined. I loved that she wanted to take something from her past, that could have gone completely wrong for her but didn’t, and make sure that other women in the town that she lives in and even in where her betrothed is living as well. Her goal is to make sure that women and children of unwed marriages are still taken care of and respected, but as the month goes by with her betrothed, she is starting to see that she might not be able to have the chance to keep giving to the women.

Robert Kirkian was lost at sea for 5 years or so everyone thought after his cousin took over his title, his property, and his lands. Now that he is once again in good health and able to travel back to London to reclaim his title and get his revenge, he knows that he will have to wait and have patience for his plan to work. One of his plans is to get his cousins betrothed to fall for him and sweep her off her feet. Little does he know that he will be meeting a spitfire of a woman, and she is willing to challenge him and make him a better person.

This story had everything that I love in romances and having it be a historical romance made it even better. I can’t wait to see what else this author will come out with

Make Mine a Marquess begins with Robert Kirkian, Marquess of Landon (who typically goes by Landon), peering inside a ballroom as he stands in the shadows outside. The costume ball is the beginning of a weeks long house party that is being hosted by his cousin, Lord Willard, whom he spots quickly. As Landon steps back into the shadows, Lord Willard and a beautiful blond woman, Miss Phoebe Dawson, step out onto the terrace. After a brief chat, Willard goes back inside as Landon approaches Phoebe. Learning that Phoebe was Willard’s betrothed, Landon approaches her and the two speak for a brief time before Phoebe heads back inside not knowing to whom she had been speaking. All she knows is that the handsome pirate piqued her interest.

The following day, Landon, along with his friend, Aram, approaches the country estate where the house party is being hosted and lifts the brass knocker. The butler answers the door to discover that the true Marquess has returned home after being lost at sea for five years. In Landon’s place, his cousin, Lord Willard, had taken over all that was rightfully Landon’s.

Once Landon makes himself known to those in attendance at the house party, it is hard to say who is more shocked: Lord Willard or Phoebe Dawson, albeit for vastly different reasons. What follows is a cat and mouse game as Landon tries to ferret out the truth of his ship going down and exactly why Phoebe intrigues him so.

Make Mine a Marquess is another wonderfully written tale by Ms. Gabrielle. Her stories draw you in from the beginning and the worlds she creates are easy to see in your mind’s eye. Landon and Phoebe were beautifully written, and their chemistry leapt off the page. The secondary characters were a bonus that gave the story depth. If you are a fan of regency romance novels, you will never go wrong with one of her books. Well done, Tina Gabrielle! Very well done!

MAKE MINE A MARQUESS is a charming historical romance read. The story begins with a return from a presumed deceased Marquess of Landon, who finds the cousin who plotted his demise with a fiance, Miss Phoebe Dawson. Landon approaches Phoebe, and they find themselves intrigued by the other, a feeling that only grows as Landon decides to seduce her over the coming weeks to get her away from his dastardly cousin.

Phoebe is hiding an impropriety from her past that has led her to believe that her betrothed is a safe choice, although without love. However, she finds herself drawn to the Marquess and cannot resist his offers to spend time with her. As she gets to know him better, she finds it hard to imagine continuing with her betrothal, but with all the pieces in place, she will have to decide whether she is willing to risk the scandal - and her heart.

This was a really charming read with two characters who have each been betrayed (in different ways) and who guard their hearts closely as a result. However, they are clearly well-suited for each other, something that is easy for the reader to see, even as they dance around it. There is a good amount of steam that comes up later in the story, and it was quite the romance. Their courtship was fast and passionate, and the story stays focused on the couple, even while Landon works on getting justice for his cousin.

There were a few things I did not love about how Phoebe was viewed but it seemed appropriate to the time period. The ending resolution was a bit messy as they navigate the feelings they ignored and the mistakes along the way, but I was ultimately happy with the way things resolved.

Overall, MAKE MINE A MARQUESS was a fun and fast-paced historical romance read with plenty of intrigue and a good dash of steam. Please note that I received an eARC. All opinions are my own.

Hertfordshire - 1827

Robert Kirkian, Marquess of Landon, has returned to England after a 5-year absence where it had been feared that he was lost when his ship sank at sea. During this period, his cousin, Baron Lord Willard had stepped into his shoes. He is engaged to Miss Phoebe Dawson, daughter of the wealthy owner of a coal mining business. He returns just as Willard is hosting a 3-week house party at his home. Robert knows that Willard has been spending lots of his money and ignoring the upkeep of his estates and his tenants. In addition, Robert notices that Willard has sold off some of his family treasures. In addition, he knows that Willard was responsible for the ship fire that killed 23 sailors, the captain and severely injured Robert. He is determined to find proof and then he will confront Willard.

Willard is shocked to see his cousin but tries to act happy that he has survived and returned. Robert tells him to continue with the party as his survival is worth a celebration. In the meantime, Robert is checking the estate books to see what he can uncover.

Robert is taken by Phoebe and finds that not only is she very beautiful but she is also intelligent. They get along quite well. A horseback ride together ends up with them kissing.

As the party continues, Robert is diligently trying to find proof about Willard’s dastardly deeds. While at the same time, he finds himself falling in love with Phoebe. Is there a way he can get her for himself?

I really liked this book and found that Robert and Phoebe were just made for one another. It was interesting to read about the places he had visited while he was away. A delightful story that I know readers will love. Enjoy!

I fell in love with Tina Gabrielle when I read How Not To Marry A Duke and this book wasn't an exception. ❤️

This was my first historical romance and I enjoyed it. I liked that the mmc Robert is biracial. Phoebe is such a fun character, and the relationship between them. I would definitely read the others in this series.
