Feb. is Pirate and Privateer month on Regan W. romance review blog. I chose a pretty good seafaring story set in 1714/1715 about revenge and the power of love to help heal wounds past wrongs can inflict. Our pirate H, or is he, is an alpha male who’s bent on revenge. The heroine’s a good character, one of her time, who strengthens and weathers many trials in her pursuit of her love for the H. The villain is a very bad man who’s responsible for a lot of heinous things done to a lot of people. Although certainly not new I liked the plot, there was a little action, and of course character development with a hea.

My first trashy romance novel.

This was the first romance novel I ever read and it was really fun going back to see if it evoked the same feelings as it did back then

I’ve definitely read better since but it was still really sweet and I’m happy I found a copy considering this came out the year I was born!
But I’ve now scribbled all over this one with all my reactions 🤣 it was fun going back down memory lane for sure
