In 1995, New York City, Los Angeles, and the Mediterranean kingdom of Safina are worlds apart, but bound by love. When terrorists attack Safina’s royal family, its two princes handle things differently. One wants revenge, and the other wants to save the beautiful country on the Mediterranean’s coast. New York lawyer, Jay Salas, has avoided his role as Safina’s prince his entire life. But when his cousin, Rhys, goes on an all-out rampage seeking revenge on the terrorists, Jay must navigate the consequences of his cousin’s disastrous actions. Meticulous and determined, Jay devises a plan to stop Rhys from inflicting more harm on their ancestral home. But there’s a wildcard—someone who threatens to tear apart the cousins, someone who owns their hearts. Cori Bennett didn’t expect to be dragged into the middle of her ex-lover’s family drama. Used as a pawn by all sides, she doesn’t know who to trust. Career-focused and fiercely independent, Cori doesn’t have time to hunt down terrorists for her out-of-control ex, or his sexy cousin. But apparently, the fate of Safina is at stake. Only one thing is in order for love to succeed, they’ll have to learn to trust each other and follow their hearts.
My writing journey began after my 50th birthday, and the pandemic lockdown provided the opportunity to write. Some of my stories have haunted my dreams for decades. When the characters shouted day and night, I knew I had to write about them.
My previous lives have been in advertising, fashion, and a small business owner. I've made it my life’s ambition to push through challenges of a dyslexia diagnosis to consume novels, poetry, articles, and tell fun, swoony, romantic stories.
A proud GenX woman and native Californian, I live in Hermosa Beach, CA, with my husband aka "The Greek", two beautiful kids, and two spunky-rescue kitties.
As a political intrigue, hostage negotiation, man-in-uniform kind of book, I think this story had a lot of potential. I don't think I'm equipped to review those elements, though, as I rarely read those kinds of books.
From a romance perspective, I did love the way these two met and the connection they had through their backstory. I liked the fact that he was hiding something and she was looking to land a promotion, giving them both a reason to be there.
After that, though, I feel the story veered too far into the political and military aspects to really be classified as a romance. There just wasn't enough time with the two characters on page in order for me to really get invested in them. Even by the end, I didn't find myself wrapped up in their relationship.
The almost omniscient narration flipping from one character to another very frequently and the introduction of many characters left me struggling to keep track of who was who and what was going on.
All told, I think this was a really cool premise that had potential, but it might appeal more to readers of military, suspense, or action fiction than to readers of romance. I was invested in whether they would succeed in catching the big bad, but struggled to connect with the romance in this one.
I don't think this book found its reader in me, and it is my hope that this review will help it find readers who will connect with it in a way I didn't.
Thanks to the author and the publisher for granting me an ARC in order to facilitate this review.
My first thought when I began reading was what lucky woman were the two princes fighting over, and who would win her heart? I wasn’t far off with my assumption and after meeting Cori, I knew she wouldn’t fall for just any man with a sexy smile. Cori was a southern California, “my job is my life” kind of woman who goes through men like the extra olives in her beloved dirty martinis. A new job opportunity led her to meet Jay, a handsome and charismatic New York attorney who seemed to know a little too much about her for her liking. They discussed business and indulged in deliciously strong cocktails but Cori, never one to mix business with pleasure, bid Jay goodnight, after she dropped him off at his hotel. Was this the beginning of a successful business relationship, or would their paths cross again far from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood?
Though they had just met, Jay was smitten with Cori and was willing to do anything to be with her, even if that meant telling her the truth about why he really sought her out. The path to true love often encounters many obstacles and when Cori was unwillingly forced into a dangerous situation, could she ever forgive Jay for not being truthful with her? Cori is a strong-willed woman, wildly independent, and never takes orders from any man! When she encounters a man from her past, will she finally admit that she is in way over head? Cori and Jay were destined to meet and their magical connection would be enough to see them through anything, and come out on top of the world together!
Cori is a sassy independent woman who’s had a few relationships. One of those being with Rhys, it’s been over for a while but she still hears from him from time to time. What we learn is that with his cousin Jay they are princes. They are pretty different in the way they handle situations and things are a little crazy right now. One thing leads to another and Cori is in danger. This is a complicated story with a few twists and turns. Jay and Cori have fun banter and a unique connection. I’m new to this author and liked this story and enjoyed the characters. The story dragged a little but in a it was a good book.
A great debut by Cindy Kehagiaras, TWO PRINCES hits the ground running with secrets, adventure, and romance! Readers craving an escape into a world of politics, revenge, and family drama will be entertained by the consequences of the characters’ entanglements and the romance that forms as a result. TWO PRINCES is an adventure with splashes of romantic suspense held together by strong characters creating their new definition of family, loyalty, and love.
Loved the adventure and family drama in TWO PRINCES! An exciting book with a plot that intensifies as the new romance grows. A fun read that would make a great movie and a wonderful debut by Ms. Kehagiaras.
Two Princes is an amazing new book by Cindy Kehagiaras. This book is fast paced and jam packed with adventure. Between the romance and twists and turns, this book is sure to keep the reader engaged until the very end.
I liked this book, and the strong FMC. She is not afraid to do what needs to be done. It’s my first book by this author, and I am definitely going to try another of her books!
Sending thanks to Cind Kehagiaras, author and Goodreads for the eBook Kindle copy of Two Princes: A Secret Royal Suspense Romance that I won in the Giveaway.
I found this book difficult to read because it was written in some kind of code (at least the copy I won) and had multiple words with symbols and out of place letters. I prefer reading that I don't have to figure out what the author is saying and in correct complete sentences. Working to fingure out the plot was not fun.
The basic plot was two princes that were cousins had differerent ways to work to revenge the killing of their family and both of them were attracted to the same woman (a phobic to committed relationships woman devoted to her carreer.) The whole reading experience made me tired.
loved it !! love Cori and Jay.. Rhys ? this is their story... a fast paced rom/drama... two princes are cousins bent on revenge of the terrorists that killed their family... and Cori well, she meets Jay and knows Rhys... secrets and more.. royalty and more... intrigue is everywhere..so good !!!.

Two Princes by Cindy Kehagiaras is a breathtakingly beautiful novel that will capture your heart and imagination. This book is a masterclass in storytelling, with a narrative that flows like a lyrical poem. The characters are so well-crafted and complex, I found myself drawn into their world from the very beginning. The relationships are multidimensional and authentic, with a depth that makes them feel like old friends. Cindy Kehagiaras' writing is pure magic. She has a way of crafting a story that feels both epic and intimate, with a scope that's both sweeping and personal. The pacing is perfect, the plot twists are unexpected, and the character growth is remarkable. What I loved most about this book was its thoughtful exploration of themes that are both personal and universal. The author tackles issues of identity, family, love, and self-acceptance with a deft hand, crafting a narrative that feels authentic and real. The romance is sweet and swoony, with a slow burn that will leave you begging for more. And that ending? Absolutely perfect.. Definitely Your Next 5⭐ Read.
This was a new author for me and a quick read but it was so full of action and adventure suspense and Hot chemistry. Jay is looking for Cori who is his cousin's Ex thinking that she will be able to help find him as he has done some bad things. Cori is a strong willed firecracker who will not let men walk all over her and has never found that one man who will make her compromise. Jay is a hard headed man who likes control but is drawn to Cori right away. When Cori is taken he will do anything to find her and protect her. It was fun to read and watch these two fall in love and for her to finally give in to love and find the one person who completes her without her giving herself up. This story is well written and exciting to read. You will fall in love with these characters and the adventure was fun too. I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.
A real adventure romance with a savvy hero who never wanted to be a leader but had all the ability oh, and he’s prince. A career driven heroine who wanted to be taken seriously. Total opposites and yet they are perfect for each other.
