When Cyrinda herself openly admits, multiple times throughout the book, that it was written purely for the money and that the publishers wanted all the dark, dirty details of her and Steven Tyler's marriage... well that should give you a good idea about the tone of the book. The first half, where she talks about moving to New York and becoming involved in the Max's Kansas City scene, you can tell she is enjoying recounting those tales. By the end, especially since she discusses Steven and their daughter Mia's relationship, you're left feeling a little dirty. It's unfortunate that she had to write this at a time where her bitterness over their painful relationship was still so strong. Still, she's got some great stories!

I loved this book because it was heartfelt and honest. And in some instances, hot!

I had the honor of interviewing Cyrinda for Punk magazine (online) and hanging out with her a few times prior to her death. She was a wonderful person -- charming and fun. I miss her terribly.

Mia Tyler's mom talks more about how she had sex and hung around a bunch of celebrities but swears she was never a "groupie" the book is a little bit about her abusive and drug filled relationship with Steven Tyler. She admits she had to write this book for money because she doesn't get much if anything at all from Tyler.
If you're expecting juicy details about Steven Tyler, you'll be disappointed, Cyrinda Foxes -Tyler talks mostly about herself

It was like this book was written by a 14 year old. I think she meant to write a tell all book about Steven Tyler but it ended up sounding like she was a pathetic, narcissistic, drug addict, groupie, gold digging baby momma. Poor Mia!

Cyrinda was a pistol! I enjoyed reading about her life as a child, living in New York, mixing with the Warhol crowd, and being married to both David Johansen and Steven Tyler. While reading this, I felt like I was interviewing her in some hole in the wall bar like CBGBs. I know she's passed and she was a scenester. I just wish there was more information on Cyrinda than the little that is out there.

Cyrinda lived a life that I wanted and was envious of......I did live the type of life to some degree.....
She was tough but soft, beautiful but stained but most of all....she's really a hoot!
Her life with Steven was sad even if she really loved him.
Sadly she passed away but her memory needs to live on.
Loved it!
